    Hi, If you have enough insulation to put a single strip down the length of the van floor, then infil the sides.. that way it will seal the split in the plywood where its joins together in the middle of the van ( Max walking area ) when all the furniture, bed etc is in .. keep up the good fight ... Andy ..

      Looks a great product, how much did you use?

      @@neilheslam1114 Well... They sent out this big roll, and that was enough to do the entire floor, the wheel arches AND the roof (in the next video) so I imagine that's the standard roll for a SWB VW T5 - But if you give them a call or drop them a message, they will tell you exactly what you need, super friendly bunch😁

    Hey, did you screw the plywood back down or just lay it back down. I'm looking to keep as much height in my van so I don't want to do a subfloor. 👍

      I used self tapping metal screws to secure it to the van floor, using the original screw holes from the previous floor. Hope that helps 🙂

    hang on.... "screw everything down"?... The ply through to the steel floor?

    • @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes
      @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well yes of course you need to screw the floor down into the van, how else would you lay a ply floor 😁

      @@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes inasfar as this being bad practice in terms of introducing new and untreated holes go... Unless you were using existing holes.... Anyhoo, most folks bond timber battens to the steel with CT1 for example and screw the board to the battens... With any insulation between the battens if course... I came here to see your method of insulation everywhere first

      @@clungebucket23 if it was a brand new van, and brand new floor I totally agree that batons are the way to go, but as this is an 18 Year old van which already had holes from the previous floor, I simply used those holes with new screws, and painted in some Hammeritte on the existing holes for good measure 🙂
