players are allowed to get emotional (drop some F bombs) when they die as long as it is not abusive. as long as it ends with a GG it's all good. this is something i struggle with when i die to OP 1-shot knife and shotguns. if i am able to change anyone can :) expecting humans not to get emotional is just as wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@Phixate but I've seen solos get 13+ kills in a match some even up into the 20's. Some hunts are by operator kills, some are on your loot cash.

Because they see you as a easy target, especially if they used weapons that are too cheesy like the 1-shot or Rgl. Like you are trying to do missions and refill your wallet, and you really can't get anything done when there is a kill greedy squad

In my defense I routinely get killed as a solo after being hunted by a squad in a helicopter, that then proceed to tea bag me and tell me i'm trash, so after that happening 20 games in a row I tend to get a little toxic myself.
its kinda annoying when i play DMZ. teammates who have a airplane next to their mic or just no mic and if they're down they just leave without giving you the chance. And the enemies are like Pro players. My friend quit after the first game we came back (we came back 5 days ago) and im just left with annoying temmates or running solo which 99% of the time ends dying in the first 5 minutes. And i dont even want to talk about Ashika island or Vondel
I play a lot of Ashika and let me tell that map should be its own game entirely due to how sweaty and toxic it is and you’re lucky to find a nice player

I play solo… the game starts… “advanced UAV in your sector” next thing I have 7 people playing the Machata on my 6.
Our mission was to infiltrate the failed State of Al Mazrah, gather intel and exile with that data.
Rules of engagement:
1. Other Government’s Operatives. Shoot first and ask questions later.
2. Local militias. Authorized to engage to maintain our presence a secret and/or for self-defensive purposes only.
The Major decided it would be better if we infiltrated Al Mazrah during the day and in the open instead of at night and closer to the cover of buildings. We did as we were ordered.
We were a three man team moving in a diamond formation. Ajax and Freight were the front two points of the diamond and I was the rear point bringing up our six. We were jogging towards a cluster of burned out buildings that would provide us cover. Then we could safely get our bearings and decide how to proceed with the mission.
I was a half click behind my mates and crossing a elevated highway when something slammed into my rear back plate. As I regained my balance and started running towards the concrete Jersey barriers in the median I was hit a second time. “SNIPER AT SIX-O’CLOCK” I yelled into comms as I fell. I instinctively decided it would be in my best interest to stay down and try crawling towards the barrier. A third shot rendered me unconscious.
We instantly dropped behind a dune when we heard Duncan’s warning. Freight covered my rear as I crawled slowly around the dune. Through my infrared shooting scope I looked back at the direction of our former six. There we go, a high tension electrical tower, a perfect place for sniper at the top of the tower. Nothing…wait! At the stone base of the tower I see the glint of a rifle scope. If I crawl this way I should be able to reach Duncan without being seen. I sign my intent to Freight and asked Freight to continue watching my back. My plan was working. I was as close to Duncan as I could be with totally breaking cover. I scoped the tower from bottom to top. Nothing, the smart Sniper was changing his position. While the sniper was resettling would be a good time to see if Duncan was still with us. Last twenty feet to Duncan was uneventful, as I start rendering first aid to Duncan (he’s still breathing) I get slammed to the pavement so hard my helmet is thrown from my head and knocking me senseless.
I saw Ajax go down. When the sand hit the side of my face caused by the Sniper’s bullet hitting the dune that narrowly missed my head I moved! Zigged zagged to the nearest building burst through the front door and out the back door right into a squad of local militia. I never broke stride as I fired my way to the next building, up to the roof top and parachuted to another roof to catch my breath. I’m OK but my armor plates are damaged and I have no more spares. There’s a choptop down there in the ally. I check my tactical map for the closest restock cache. I jump down and jump into the choptop, turn the key and nothing! Exiting the vehicle, shooting towards the militia that had followed me as I head towards a cluster of buildings. In one up and over to another and repeat until I’ve lost that pesky militia. I’ve found a nice “quite” spot on a second floor building roof. Using the scope on my sniper rifle (two can play this game!) I look back at the electrical tower. I see nothing. “THAT HURT”. A bullet hitting the roof parapet sprayed concrete bits into my right check drawing blood. If I hadn’t been wearing eye protection I’d been blinded in that eye! That shot came from nine o’clock!? I scope over the parapet from a different location on the roof. I see his scope glint clear up the side of that mountain. No way that could be the same sniper that shot Ajax and Duncan. Ajax’s whispered voice came over the comms, “sniper moved to seven o-clock by the building with the green bushes”. “Had to be two snipers” I thought. I’ve been working on a gentle counterclockwise flanking maneuver around to the first Sniper this whole time. The confirmation of a second sniper cancels that plan. Tactical map shows a twin tower high-rise behind me and within a hard jog. If I’m lucky there would be some plates there for me. I didn’t find the armor plates I desperately need but I did find a EV, and it came to life when I hot-wired it and use it to drive over another squad of militia that had made it their life’s mission to kill me. I now have the means to get to the restock cache for more plates before rescuing Ajax and Duncan. “Radiation has started to spread. Recommend you immediately head towards the nearest exfil”, the automated voice echoed over my comms. “Radiation? Another little detail the Major forgot to tell us?” No time for plates…I smile as another thought crossed my mind…it will work. I flank from the opposite direction using a gentle curve and entered the elevated highway far enough away from the first sniper so hear me until it was too late. I brought the EV to a screeching stop with the EV between the snipers and where Ajax and Duncan were laying. I jumped out of the EV and was reviving the first partner I came to. I was smiling from ear to ear. “Working like a charm.” Aircraft?
“Precision air strike?”, thought Duncan.
Ajax, “Is that a…”
“AIR STRIKE!” Yelled Freight.
“Major. Has your team been exfilled”.
“No Colonel and they are overdue. Never even made their first scheduled check in.”
“Well Major. Next time perhaps a night time infiltration might be warranted.”
“Excellent idea Colonel.”

I watch all of your videos and really appreciate your stream, thank you Phix. As a career solo-ist .. i get smashed all the time ... I love the 1v1 .. or a good fight against a team and then get picked up, and get to carry on and fight with them, that it is so cool. That unsrcripted gameplay and meeting other people is what makes DMZ the best. But as a mostly career solo mission runner, the reality is that when its 1 vs 3 or 4 i am going to die and often times carrying lots of loot. All good, GG. But then they start talking shit like they are all elite players, "we dont pick up scrubs" is really trash. I was never a threat. Or having some 8 year old Billy saying the worst Slangs and Slurs is not needed, where are the parents? Then of course the Chinese hackers effing things up.
To me ..This is the best version of this game. ... ok ,thats my rant .... now i am off to hopefully survive Al Mazrah and loot up then drop into Koschei to kill the Rhino and the Sniper .. maybe exfil this time . *peace*

Yeah hearing women players being treated and the way they get spoken to is beyond out of control. No way you would talk to your mom, sister, wife or gf that way.
I have moments when I am killed that I get upset , However I DO NOT express any negative words via comms. I simply take a breath and start another raid and moments later I am happy again

Thanks Phixate for your clips man, so good to just see the skill, humour as well as a call out on players taking advantage over the glitches… but they are there , and if you’re solo… and not as skilled as you… you have to do all you can just to survive if possible. but still everyone needs to fricken relax take a chill, and remember it’s only a game. if everyone is toxic no one will want to continue coming in to listen to the trash talk and disrespect of some in the game which is just a damn shame.
Oh and by the way - height of toxicity and game cheat i ever have seen personally is when i was in the exfill heli and a bunch of low life players blew up the heli! - wtf ! i have never experienced anything like this in the 2 years playing the game …it looked like fricken hack job for sure!!! just another day in Al Mazrah!!!! 🙄

Pick a number whoever closest gets picked up. Or ask who is the best player on your squad and be nice and pick up the guy that sucks lol

Not everyone but man there's some clowns running around. Was going to actually go into the complex and exfil due to body campers but two dudes with one shot's were literally sitting in the complex entrance with prox mines, advanced uav up with 10 seconds left and wiped us . . . it was pretty toxic. Not to mention shooting me through a mountain earlier in the match??

The whole PVP FPS community, in general, is toxic.
It's all great and awesome but at the end of the day when you're constantly being hunted and killed by cheaters hackers and people using Zen controllers then it's kind of a problem when you're trying to have fun.. and yes in the last five months there has been an increase of cheaters especially spamming the grenade launchers, wall hacking, exfil camping not to mention squads that are now joining forces to hunt down solo and small teams of players which is even worse! look I get it!, there has been no updates to this game they pretty much gave up on it there's not many things to do there's no missions to do for those that already did them all but it does not give you the right to be a dick and just go in just to hunt players if that's the case then go stay in war zone.
My teammate makes one of the pleads call him daddy then we pick up the other one kuz we don't play with gays.... Lol jk
