So, here's the thing... The Casio's and the Suggess have resale potential. The other three don't hold any real value. You might be able to get half of what you paid for them. That's the rub with a lot of the mass produced chnese watches, you are getting something that mimics the look of the more expensive luxury brands, but you aren't getting same level of detail put into the production process, nor do they have a history / legacy of the big Swiss brands.
While there are some chinese brands thart are starting to be recognized for their quality, they are still catching up. I honestly know of only one chinese brand that appears to have some history (it was actually founded 30 years ago).
IMO if you need to stay on the entry level it's best to stay with Casio, Timex, Seiko, Citizen. Thatway you get a watch from a company that has some history and will likely hold most of it's value.

Yea i mostly agree with you but buying a nice seiko automatic watch would cost almost my entire current collection. For someone that is just starting out and does not have much spending budget like myself Chinese brands are a thrilling option.
Where else could i find a watch that is 80% of the quality of the PRX and has a NH35 seiko movement for 55$?
I completely agree that the resale value is trash but i am not planning to sell any of them. And the quality they offer for the price is out of this world. As i mentioned 80 or 90% of the quality for 10% or 20% of the price compared to the well known watch brands.
Eventually i want to make a second collection with higher quality and well-known brands. Seiko Alpinist and Bulova Jetstar are two of my dream watches and i will get them one day.
Would like to hear any suggestions..

@@ZenUnboxing But at 2:10 you say that you regret buying the Kalvin Klein and want to sell it. It is a cheap chinese watch. And at 2:43 you state you want to sell that skeletonized watch - another cheap chinese watch. If you hadn't suggested that you wanted to sell these watches, I wouldn't have made this comment.
As for getting something with a decent Seiko (or Citizen) movement you could have gotten something from a company like San Martin. For example, the SN034-G has a Miyota 8215 movement - a solid workhorse movement. And their SN0143-G has a YN55 movement (this is a Seiko movement, from S. Epson - found frequenlty in Orient watches). Both of these watches can be had for $160 or less. If you insist on the PRX style - Pagani Design has a PRX style watch (and a Royal Oak style watch) for right around $100 -- both with NH35A movements, and both with better finishing than the two you regret. Both of these companies are being recognized for finishing and quality. Along with several others like Addiesdive, Berny,
Sure they are a bit more expensive, but when it comes time to resell them you would likely be able to get more of your investment back. And, honetsly, I expect you would enjoy all of these watches longer than the two you regret / want to sell.
But, there is another option: look at grey market sites like Jomashop or Chrono24.and search for watches under $100. You will find a lot of Citizen, Seiko, Casio, Timex, Orient - and even the occasional Tissot...and all of them will hold better value. Sure, there's going to be a lot of Quartz movements - but honestly I don't think there's any issue with getting an actual Tissot with a Quartz movement (there is literally a Mathey-Tissot Zoltan series watch listed on Jomashop for $99 right now...)
Finally: don't buy the 80% of the quality for 20% of the price. That missing 20% of the quality is a large factor in the overall value and enjoyment you will get from the watch...especially for brands that don't have the heritage / legacy. And the 20% of the price pretty much gauarantees there's no value for the watch to hold on to for resale.

Appreciate your opinion buddy and you are giving some good advice.
Though the two watches are an exception. First of all i would not cosider the Calvin Klein a Chinese watch (despite that it may be made it China) because it is a name brand and there are people out there that like the brand. Those two watches i bought simply for trying to resell them the Calvin Klein because of the huge discount (70% i think) and the Skeleton watch because it was the cheapest automatic watch i could find and i thought the price was too low for an automatic.
The Tissot homeage i bought for my collection because it has the NH35 movement the quality is decent and the price is a steal. And still to this day i would recommend it to anyone. The suges aswell. And also your recommendations of Chinese brands are very decent i have seen them all.
Hearing all that it seems that you are very knowledgeable when it comes to watches. Would love to hear about your collection if you have one.
