Gonna be honest here... before I watched the video I said to myself “oh great, another piece of plastic that says its cooks something well in the microwave... these things never work”. With that said, that actually looked like it worked, and well too. Thanks for sharing this with us
I have one of these, and love it, but I have learned as i've used it. Some things you should know are: 1. Carry over cooking is your friend. When something is "almost done" just set it on the counter with the lid and it will finish cooking from the residual heat. If you put it back in microwave you may overcook it. 2. Don't put meat in it that you just pulled from the refrigerator. Let it sit out for at least 15 minutes. 3. For grilled cheese, i found that spraying oil on bread (misto) will work better than butter or margarine. A fine layer works well.I think the bread gets crispier. 4. i tend to burn fresh minced garlic and just use dry .. but that could just be me Hope you enjoy yours as much as i love mine!
Reason why you let meat "rest" before cooking it, is more about how dry it is on the surface than the temperature of the meat. The dryer the meat is at the start, the more moist it'll be at the end.
I’m not surprised a guy with Jack’s level of cooking skills is impressed by a microwave grill. How was this product better than just cooking it the regular way? Lol
Yes go get the bigger one. See if eggs and sausage can be cooked at same time. Because I think the eggs would have been cold by the time the sausage was done.
I just got mine and I love it but I need advice ... the directions say never to preheat without food in it ... for frying ,it says to add oil to preheat empty ... The video didn't show that when he preheated for the asparagus ... is everyone preheating for frying DRY ? book says not to .... any advice here ?
Well it's been over a month of use with this thing, and it holds a lot less negative surprises than the crazy hit and miss Reheatza or the crazy Whirlpool useless pan. To end all concern about 'dry' preheating for frying things just do this : Fill a restaurant style red ketchup squeeze bottle or the yellow squeeze mustard bottle with your favorite vegetable oil .... no matter what your food item is, always start with a squeeze of oil along the left or right channel of the pan, tip toward the other side to make the oil totally cover all grill tracks. Always use the lid and preheat for a full 3 minutes ..... Remove from microwave and either tip out all the hot oil into the sink or for vegetables and other things you might want a bit of oil on, leave a bit in the pan ... back into the microwave for 3 to no more than 4 minutes .... flip food to other side for an added 2 minutes ..... the best overall results every time for burgers, porksteaks, new york strips, french fry reheats , cubed canned dollar store chicken, ... for the best grilled cheese, dump out all of the hot oil , lay both butter sides down, and put a few slices of cheese on one of the bread slices .... microwave for only 2.5 minutes then remove and assemble the sandwich .
I would like to see you try some meat from frozen which they said could be done in the infomercial. I've preheated the pan 3 minutes in the microwave, put in the chicken, cooked 6 minutes because they say add 1-2 minutes for frozen, turned it, another 6 minutes and still raw inside. I have a powerful microwave, too! After watching this video, I'll try some other things, but so far, unimpressed with my results.
You can use the "handle" As a lid stand!! Check freaking reviews. So you also can see the one called Reheatza, huge difference. Love this rangemate. But because i live in Denmark/Northern Europe, transport is around 30$ and the rangemate can only be purchased from a website. Thx for a great video. I like this small model a lot.
Would love to see more of this thing! You can do broccoli and salmon and soooo... much more. Would love more ideas and would love to see all the pieces in the set
Im with you on the brown/blackish hot dogs and sausages. YES! Id like to see the other one with the accessories. I am on a weight loss journey and these would be an amazing addition if they are as good as I am hoping.
Jack, I am now confused....I don't know which one to get, the one you reviewed here or the round one that comes with the steamer tray and muffin or egg insert. I wonder if I would even use the extra pieces. Maybe you could review the round one too or maybe you know someone that has it.
I was impressed after seeing your video so I did some more research and even asked a question about it on the Amazon site. My microwave grill should be here tomorrow!
Hmm looks like this one is discontinued. There is a round one though, wonder if it'll work as well as the one in the vid? I'm impressed with how well it browns stuff.
You are so good!! Everything you share is so helpful and jammed packed with information, I have made many great purchases because of your wonderful videos. God Bless and Aloha from Hawaii
Yes go bigger! That looked amazing! The chicken looked moist and tender. I want to see what a steak is like. You need to give one of these bad boys away!
Okay.... So, where are the other videos using this and the pro with the steaming and baking insert?! I want your opinion on them Jack! PS Just watched your video that just came out today on the G Hughes sugar free sauces and I really appreciate your review on those too! Keep being awesome! :)
I would like to see the bigger one. I’m not 100% sure this would be of benefit over using the cooktop gas grill. Def if you are in a hotel with only microwave and you don’t want to eat out 3 times a day. Oh and leftovers like pizza.
Dude! Wash your hands after you manhandle raw chicken with bare hands and start pawing away at your cookware and everything else! Jack, you just ruined Christmas.
Hey jack! Great review! Question though, what happened to that red copper 5 minute chef review? Went to warn my mom and show her the video but can’t find it. Thanks!
I believe the eggs, sausage, and asparagus would all be OK. But was the chicken rubbery at all? Microwaved chicken usually has a really bad texture. If the meat was good, I’m really impressed.
WOW I was almost certain that this product would be a failure. Totally surprised it worked and it worked great too! Awesome review Jack. And yeah get their premium one. Would be nice if you dug in to the details of how it works since I thought metal in the nuker was a nono. God bless you and your family!

yeah. I felt the same way. I totally thought JUNK. but I was wrong
@@cookingwithjackshow I thought the same thing and like you I was wrong
You could hear your enthusiasm the whole way. I’m shocked it worked so well. Thanks Jack
Can't wait for the next segment on this product! Only wish there was one that could do multiple items at one time.

great input. thank you Susan.

Please do the bigger one and how big of a microwave will this one fit in. Sorry I am visually impaired. Thanks
Found one at Goodwill for like $5 and does everything he says it does--still worth it at full price though
WOW!!! You really lucked out.
strife01104 🍗🍲🍡🍜
Score!!
You got a deal!
Yes go get the bigger one. See if eggs and sausage can be cooked at same time. Because I think the eggs would have been cold by the time the sausage was done.
That looks like a nice tool to be used in the microwave ovens. People living in college dorms will love it and give them good service.

I was impressed I will have to try it! And definitely Jack get the next one.
I did a review on this I love this device also but mine is round and it came with a couple inserts for steaming vegetables and even baking muffins
Long time viewer. Must say i wanna buy this. I'm very impressed. Thanks for all the video's all these years.
thank you Bryce. Much more to come!
This looks bloody perfect for a college dorm or small apartment.
Once one item is cooked
Anything else additional is burnt or dryer out .. idk how he put item after item consecutively without clean or cool down
Very interesting device... I really didn’t expect that thing to do as well as it did lol.
Very good review Jack I think that you should have mentioned that the handle doubles as a lid stand

This looks Amazing!!! Would love to see the one with attachments!! Love your reviews & have purchased items & other products based on your reviews!!!

how do i get the cookbook
Would love to see more of this thing! You can do broccoli and salmon and soooo... much more. Would love more ideas and would love to see all the pieces in the set
Amazing Jack. That was totally cool.
Get the bigger one Jack!! Thanks for the great review!
It would be great to see you review the larger grill with the accessories. I want see some cupcakes done in the muffin tin.
This looks and sounds like a badass investment!
Please do try the whole set. Just want to see if all of them are win like this one. 😃
Test the larger one!
I've had one for several months. Love it. Use it all the tine,
Great review! Hopefully they see your review and send you the bigger one to review!
Per favore quando si mette in forno con il coperchio che sembra allumino bisogna mettere in
Modalità grill oppure microonde normale grazie mille
Thats really something. Might be great in my dorm room
You have to get the big set now, I am impressed
When your preheating❓Cover is off❓
I might have to go buy this. It would be nice to see the other one.
Im with you on the brown/blackish hot dogs and sausages. YES! Id like to see the other one with the accessories. I am on a weight loss journey and these would be an amazing addition if they are as good as I am hoping.
Jack, go get the rest of the set! We want to see it.

Yes go get the bigger one love the video if I see that somewhere I'm going to buy it hopefully at Walmart
Yes buy the whole set. I’m really thinking about buying one for my pops he loves grilling. Thanks for the review.
Your courage when taking the cover off the eggs is impressive. I've never cooked eggs with a solid yoke, in the microwave, that did not explode.
I was impressed after seeing your video so I did some more research and even asked a question about it on the Amazon site. My microwave grill should be here tomorrow!
It looks good Jack, but I looked it up on Amazon and it's $ 129.99 CDN, just a bit too much for me to spent on something for the microwave.
Charles Damery all that see is $59.99.
Not in Canada.
I was hoping you would review this product!
I gotta get this that microwave grill is amazing!
that's amazing for a nuker, yes try the bigger one please. Would like to know if the results are the same for the bigger one. Thanks
I am so glad you are back with a new video. Love your show since day one
Hmm looks like this one is discontinued. There is a round one though, wonder if it'll work as well as the one in the vid? I'm impressed with how well it browns stuff.
The eggs looked perfect, but you didn't show the yolks. Were they still runny?
You could easily tell that the egg was cooked over easy.
oh yeah. I ate them up fast. Nice yolks for my toast. sorry for not showing
WOW! That looks like an amazing product. Get the bigger one & review!
You are so good!! Everything you share is so helpful and jammed packed with information, I have made many great purchases because of your wonderful videos.
God Bless and Aloha from Hawaii
I never see anyone try and do a hamburger patty, will it work?
go get the big one jack i want to see how the big one works
Get a bigger one!
My micro wave is micro so can u measure it?
Yes go bigger! That looked amazing! The chicken looked moist and tender. I want to see what a steak is like. You need to give one of these bad boys away!
Man that sausage went to hell
I definitely would like to see you get the big one small one look like it worked perfect love your videos..,
Get the big one!!! How cool!
Looks too big for a standard size microwave to enable it to rotate.
Okay.... So, where are the other videos using this and the pro with the steaming and baking insert?! I want your opinion on them Jack! PS Just watched your video that just came out today on the G Hughes sugar free sauces and I really appreciate your review on those too! Keep being awesome! :)
How do you clean the grill? most of the negative reviews on Amazon stated it can't be cleaned..
I just wipe it out then put some hot water in it and put lid on for awhile then tip water out and wipe out again, the lid can be washed in soapy water
Wipes rite out with a damp cloth.
Got mine today based on your recommendation, and so far I love it!
Amazing, it’s hard to believe. I need this grill.
I would like to see the bigger one. I’m not 100% sure this would be of benefit over using the cooktop gas grill. Def if you are in a hotel with only microwave and you don’t want to eat out 3 times a day. Oh and leftovers like pizza.
Thanks for the review! I just ordered one, it arrives Monday! can't wait!
Jack I would love to see the bigger size of this product as I want this one but I'll wait to see and I'll get the bigger one might hold more ty
Yes get the big one
Dude! Wash your hands after you manhandle raw chicken with bare hands and start pawing away at your cookware and everything else! Jack, you just ruined Christmas.
Long time viewer, first time commenter. When Jack says a product is good, we know its actually good. I gotta check this out.
Hey jack! Great review! Question though, what happened to that red copper 5 minute chef review? Went to warn my mom and show her the video but can’t find it. Thanks!
it's down temporarily. it should be up again soon.
Nice! Looks like a winner.
Great review Jack!!
I believe the eggs, sausage, and asparagus would all be OK. But was the chicken rubbery at all? Microwaved chicken usually has a really bad texture. If the meat was good, I’m really impressed.
no. it wasn't as most as a cast iron chicken breast or on the grill but it was very good. not rubbery
Did you need to blanche the asparagus?
try the rest of the set
Joe
Go for the set Jack. You sold me on this one.
That is exactly how I like my hot dogs and sausage! Thanks for this great review, I'm impressed! Many blessings to all! 💕🙏
Hey Jack on some of the videos that I seen you can also grill a steak. Have you tried cooking a steak in since your video post?
Would love to see you do a steak or burgers in it, since steaks in a micro tend to become rubbery, but I enjoyed the review.
WOW I was almost certain that this product would be a failure. Totally surprised it worked and it worked great too! Awesome review Jack. And yeah get their premium one. Would be nice if you dug in to the details of how it works since I thought metal in the nuker was a nono. God bless you and your family!
go to their site. i believe they explain it there.

Jack, you are the one minute cooking chief, stay cool.
Love the idea of getting the big one. You have me sold though. Looks like a nice product..
YEA! Go for the BIG one.
That looks fantastic!!! YES get the bigger one and show us!!!
Looks quite good actually... Although I would have cooked the sausages before the eggs but then neither of us are chefs...
Wow! Nice one Jack looking on amazon for a uk vrrsion.
I purchased mine from Amaxon & it didn't come with any instructions. 🤦🏾♀️
How do you not do burgers?!!!!!!!
Tupperware has one. I use it every day.
Michael Thompson Tupperware’s version is better but more expensive. I was looking at getting one on EBay. I like the top that you can adjust.
Please 🙏🏻make some more RangeMate Pro videos? I just got one and need more ideas and inspiration. 😉
QUICK LET HIM KNOW YOU WANT HIM TO GET THE ROUND ONE WITH ALL THE ACCESSORIES!!!!!
Put a chuck roast on it, Jack!
Get the better one I would like to see that review,
