Piece of advice: it's ur job to convince the visa officer that Ure a legal visitor. ACC to federal law, everyone is considered a potential immigrant, u til they prove otherwise. Avoid short answers. Why? Think of it this way, u have someone in front of u, and u think they are guilty, would them giving one word answer change ur opinion? No right. Same is w VO. Show them ties to ur country, try to mention it as much as u can(but don't throw it irrelevantly). Just remember, its not"innocent until proven guilty", but rather "guilty until proven innocent".

I also got 1st refusal 214(b) from delhi they didn't ask anything about funding just that I had travel history.. also interviewer wasnt bothered what I am answering… and gave refusal.., still thinking what to do next… but I will say dont loose hope as I have come across people who got visa after 2-3 refusals… all the best

don’t blame on yourself or your profile. since 2 , 3 days hyderabad is giving mass rejections like chennai did in july and august. i think they are completed their quota for fall. that’s why every consulate increase the rejections since july and hyd consulate given the approvals as many as they can. now they are giving rejections. don’t worry in next attempt try to book the slot for early dates
