First time I got to this section when the cutscene was ending I was like bro there’s no way their sending that many dudes against me at the same time. The game: Sends those many dudes against me
They did an outstanding job with the Tusk piece of OST, its surreal how everytime it syncs so fucking well when Kiryu is slamming doors with them corpses
It saddens me greatly that I can't find anyone on TH-cam that plays as well as you do and has a full walkthrough of the english version of this game...
That's also because of the voice actors and things can be said normal. Chinese needs a different pronunciation and different pitch to say something completely different
No wonder Kuze was his aniki, Yoneda even had the same motivation as him during the whole battle; you can keep beating his ass all you want, but as long he’s alive, he still wants more
The game up to this point was a little slow for me, but as soon as it got to this point it started to suck me in. As soon as I saw Kiryu crack his neck before laying the shit on everyone, that's what got me fucking hyped.
This was my first forray into the Yakuza series. At this point of the game, I really wasn't feeling it, but when this fight started with the music and just whipping 50 people's asses. I knew we had something here.

This mission is my favourite but it was also the hardest for me. It’s in the first chapter of the game and you barely have any upgrades. This is also the hardest boss fight with Kuze. A fully upgraded Kiryu only using Brawler style would demolish this level easily.
Now i really wonder, Yoneda died after Kiryu kicked out him from the window? I know that Kiryu in the past (Yakuza 0) was really rageful fighter than in future. But still.

seriously thinking the Dojima patriarch should have forgiven Kiryu without any problem and keep him in the family at all costs, why throw out a Youth that you have seen who is capable of taking on a huge number of your men and one of your lieutenants and leave victorious, having a man like Kiryu in your ranks is something that should not be wasted

I remember when I first played this level and just feeling *all* the hype. I don't think many games make me feel as badass as Yakuza does. And I was actually very happy to see Yoneda constantly coming after you. During the cutscene when Kiryu just punches him out like a bitch, I was like "is that it? really?" but little did I know that he'd make for a pretty entertaining miniboss to get you ready for the real nemesis of the game.

Sucks that there's no NG+ with the enemies being tough and stuff so they ain't a joke. Like God of War for example. That was some nice NG+. At least there they ain't a joke until you get the Zeus armor and still and still they could one shot ya.

@@kailee87 There's 4 per character. The basic three of each is unlocked during the normal course of the game. The fourth style is basically a bonus, the ultimate style of each character
Yakuza's combat isn't deep by ANY stretch of the imagination. And I've played them all. It's just a simplified ps2 era WWE combat system. The AI is also too primitive to put up any real fight, except stun locking you to death, having ridiculous HP, or doing stupid damage. 98% of any cool thing you do's a QTE. A shitty company like SEGA keeps remaking the same game, with low tier PS2 era combat, & newbie fanboys be like: that's deep.

But I'd say Yakuza Kiwami was actually decent and did require some skills and creativity to beat some of the enemies though some of the bosses, especially Jingu, were really cheap.
This is THE moment where Yakuza 0 clicked. This is where this relatively boring crime drama quickly turned into one of my favorite games of all time. This is the moment that made me fall in love with the Yakuza series.

Kiryu missile drop kicking Yoneda out a fucking window will forever be one of the greatest things I’ve ever scene. The first time I saw that, I legit had to stop playing for a minute because I was laughing so hard.
This feeling of excitement to beat up thugs, the way those dojima punks have threatening dialogues, their intimidating aura, and the way Kiryu shouts "Koii" to shot up my adrenaline... is never found in kiwami games or any other games. That's why Yakuza 0 is so great.
Let’s not forget how the OST just sets the intensity out through the roof! Yakuza 0 is just pure hype all around. I’m glad I started with this game and not Kiwami. As of now, I’m playing through 4 and so far, none of the other games have given me the same hype factor as 0 did (not that the others are bad by any means, except for 3 on just being average at best). 0 is such a special game and I will replay it over and over.

Hell, I replayed it not too long ago since I'm working for the platinum and I never once got bored. I was still hyped as hell and even though I literally beat it only about 2 months before I replayed it, I was still having a blast. There's just something about Yakuza 0 that the next two games (and probably the rest in the series) can't replicate.

Yoneda is like one of them villains from a bond movie who repeatedly gets in the way of 007 even though you seriously thought he couldn't recover the other time.
I once tried this 5:53 on a man and it was life threatening, I had to pay his hospital bills for 2 and half straight years. 🙌🏻 As much as these hype you up, I recommend not to try ‘cause the consequences could … well, weigh on you.
This has to be the most powerful and badass long Battle in the game! It’s incredible how badass the battle makes you feel in the face of an army of Dojima members, and how this is the crux that sets everything in motion, for events to come.
somehow this is the scariest part in the game for me: barely any upgrades, small health bar, quick time events, punk-ass yoneda and possibly the most difficult boss in the game. yes, even shibusawa was easier for me than kuze's first fight.

My first entry into the series. I sucked at it, but I didn't care. The battle was simply too much fun.
Same here. 0 was my first Yakuza game, but the combat hooked me in immediately, and I ended up loving the characters and story
This feeling of excitement to beat up thugs, the way those dojima punks have threatening dialogues, their intimidating aura, and the way Kiryu shouts "Koii" to shot up my adrenaline... is never found in kiwami games or any other games. That's why Yakuza 0 is so great.
Kiwami 1 and 2 don't even bother dubbing some important scenes. They just move their mouths and we read the subtitles.
Let’s not forget how the OST just sets the intensity out through the roof! Yakuza 0 is just pure hype all around.
I’m glad I started with this game and not Kiwami. As of now, I’m playing through 4 and so far, none of the other games have given me the same hype factor as 0 did (not that the others are bad by any means, except for 3 on just being average at best). 0 is such a special game and I will replay it over and over.
@@galaxy_kitten95 I'm getting ready to play Yakuza 3 soon and yeah, even though I loved Kiwami 2 and Kiwami, Yakuza 0 will always be a special game where I can go back and replay it without ever getting tired of it. Hell, I replayed it not too long ago since I'm working for the platinum and I never once got bored. I was still hyped as hell and even though I literally beat it only about 2 months before I replayed it, I was still having a blast. There's just something about Yakuza 0 that the next two games (and probably the rest in the series) can't replicate.
when i played it, the part in the bathroom i tried kicking yoneda out the window with the dropkick it didnt work. found out seconds later it actually happens xD i lol'ed
Yoneda got his pelvis broken 57 times, organs destroyed 29 times, 291 brain damages, and lost a lot of blood AND HES STILL GETTING BACK UP
For the rest of the game I was like
"Kiryu did this at the very start and people still act like they can beat him afterwards"

Well it makes sense. if he doesn’t fight hard enough, there won’t be a tomorrow to live through.
Yoneda is like one of them villains from a bond movie who repeatedly gets in the way of 007 even though you seriously thought he couldn't recover the other time.
I once tried this 5:53 on a man and it was life threatening, I had to pay his hospital bills for 2 and half straight years. 🙌🏻 As much as these hype you up, I recommend not to try ‘cause the consequences could … well, weigh on you.
This has to be the most powerful and badass long Battle in the game! It’s incredible how badass the battle makes you feel in the face of an army of Dojima members, and how this is the crux that sets everything in motion, for events to come.
This ain't the last one either.
I preferred the one at Tojo Clan HQ with Oda and Tachibana where you fight like the entire dojima family or whatever
somehow this is the scariest part in the game for me: barely any upgrades, small health bar, quick time events, punk-ass yoneda and possibly the most difficult boss in the game. yes, even shibusawa was easier for me than kuze's first fight.
bruh kuze first fight was almost as easy as a normal street enemy fight for me maybe even easier

Bought this game in the ps sale a few days back, never played a yakuza game but once i reached this part in the game i thought it was crazy but badass lol great intro for me to the yakuza games, and i get to go ultra instinct too which is awesome
