SolidCAM’s Automatic Edgebreaking technology can be used in either 3 Axis, 4+1 or Full 5 Axis Simultaneous.
After machining a CAM part, a burr can sometimes be found that have straight edges or non-tangent outer surface topologies. This occurs when the tool chips the metal off the edge and it can ruin the functionality of the part, or endanger the user because it is razor sharp - removing it is the BEST option!
⭐️ SolidCAM's ability to automatically detect edges and modelled chamfers and apply seemless gouge and collision free toolpath is second to none. All aspects of the 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙡 and 𝙢𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙡 are considered including holders and extensions.
It also offers the flexibility to use numerous tool types including Chamfer Mills, Ballnose, Endmills, Taper Tools and Lollipops.
