Glad to see you doing this videos after such a long break! Used to watch the old ones several times per year to ensure I made a good choice so looking forward to rewatch this video several times too
Bondi X would've been my favorite shoe ever (perfect forefoot stiffness for hallux rigidus and optimal cushioning), were it not for the heel slippage and narrow toe box (short toes relative to my foot size means I need a very roomy toe box. What's a good alternative to address these shortcomings? Doesn't have to necessarily be in the Hoka range.
Thank you for all of the great content! Can you give some recommendations for shoes for me? 70kg 2nd year runner shin splints problems long distance roads. Avg pace 5:30min/km easy runs. 40miles per week. For daily running. Currently using fly 5 and endorphin speed 3 and shins splits won't go away. Trying my best to manage the load without stopping completely.
I assume you watched this, right? th-cam.com/video/7k7l2WwbhHw/w-d-xo.html I suggest you shift towards "Balance" models. Sure, you will not get enought speed in them, but stability and cushioning shold really help you to heal.
i think you should focus on recovery first. only after than think about more bouncy/springy feel during speed session. From my experience, Shin Splints is daaaamn long to cure.
Gaviota - True - H-frame. Arahi - J-Frame. Thanks for the correction. To be honest, I don't care much about the name of the technology, but rather what it provides.
this is to wide question. Usually, "beginner walker" is a baby 1 year old. Or do you refer to person, who is senior? or do you refer to overweight person, who was sitting/laying for some time.
Very cool. I don't think any other creator has a guide like this nor is it as easy as you make it. Thank you.
saucony and asicis next!
Always amazed by the quality of your videos and the content within - cheers and thank you for your effort! 😊💯👍👍
I tried the Arahi for the first time today,

Always like your explanations. Thank you. Having BGM should be good, especially for the transitions. Cheers!

I love this! Where would you place the Skyflow?
The Gaviota 5 uses an H frame....

Please provide your opinion on whether a review without background music is better or worse.

Arahi and Gaviota used H-frame, not J-frame

Waiting for PUMA
Bondi X is gone?
You never know. Maybe next year they will reappear, but for now they are out
Actually Kinvara is one of the fastest and it is not even mentioned here...
Kinvara? You mean Saucony? It is another brand
sorry, my bad
How about for beginner walker?

@@RUNFAQ hehe I like your answer. I meant overweight, flat foot, lift weights but planning to start 10k steps daily. Thanks
consider shoes with extra cushining and stability.
