Very cool place. My brothers godfather lives in the Philippines, he used to teach English over there while he was in the Air Force. Now that the base is closed and he is retired he lives in Thailand somewhere. I don’t know exactly where but my dad has gone over there a few times and says its a very neat place to visit, and yes it is super cheap compared to here. You get a lot for your money.
Absolutely! We are SO looking forward to it. It has been a bucket list destination for a decade. One thing we learned from the pandemic, it's best not to wait on your dreams. You may not get another chance. Plus we have some delta miles and other rewards that make the trip more affordable.
