Ik geniet al jaren van je aanwezigheid op TH-cam. Al dan niet improviserend. Het geeft me veel plezier om je nu te zien in je habitat, omringd door instrumenten, pratend over een essentieel onderwerp dat opeens volstrekt natuurlijk wordt.

The numbers of enthusiastic children who were driven from what should have been a pleasant experience with piano by forbidding them them the "evil crime" of "playing by ear" and making up their own tunes. They were told that (improvising) is bad because you can't make any mistakes to be corrected by reading the music and practicing!

Thank you for this inspiring video! Im an organist from Ostfriesland (as my channel clearly tells😂) and I once heard you play in Groothusen. I learned conpletly from sight reading and with your videos you really pushed my interest for improvisation! Thank you for that! Btw, is it anyway possible to play on the green monster as an extern organist? Is it even worth questioning?
