Lets goo. I have the CTS Turbo catless dp on my 2015 335i and i love the sound. The gas smell is pretty noticeable but Ive gotten used to it over the last month. Fire video 🔥🔥
Was gonna get a 340 but probably settle for 335i and get an F8x later. This Channel convinced me on the 335i
I just ordered my Cts catless dp, Inter cooler, and intake. Love your build. Can’t wait to get them and install them 💪

Honestly, I think you might as well go catless because it’s sounds the best and it’s cheaper than high flow. And it doesn’t help with smog and the smell isn’t that bad still imo. But super glad enjoy the videos 🙏

yeah PWG is 3.5inch clamps and gaskets. Had my parts for almost a year catless downpipe, intercooler, chargepipe getting it all installed this week. Stage 1 stock was already crazy can't wait to be pushing 400whp E30

I have smog coming up and after that I'm going full catless dp that's going to be paired with VRSF 3inch cat back exhaust. It feels and sounds good as is already but I can only imagine how much better it's going to be. I'm also still on stock tune.
That’ll probably sound even louder than this setup if you get a resonator delete too. Maybe sound better too 🤔

I'm buying a full CTS set right now, only question for you is - does it drone at all bro ? Also - when you're in eco / comfort is it quiet ? I'd like to have a "disable degenerate mode" button as well. Great vid.
Yes there is some drone in all modes but nothing too bad in my opinion. Comfort has the quietest drone. Eco is still pretty loud but there are just no burbles.

It's every 2 years for me. and I would just reinstall the stock cat and flash back to the stock tune

The diffuser is from my store inlinesixauto.com. My taillights aren't tinted if that's what you're asking
We’ve got the exact same car but you can hear the 🐌 spool so much. Could it be the exhaust orrr the cts catless dp. I’ve got a vrsf catless dp no sabo

So how much louder is catless compared to stock on these cars(n55). I have an e92 335i that I want to go catless but don’t want it to be ridiculous loud either. Like my last car had a 3.7 Mustang with roush mufflers & catless shit was just outta pocket lol
If you keep the stock muffler and resonator and just do a catless dp it wont be ridiculously loud. Itll just be loud. But not annoying loud imo
Does a catless downpipe vs catted high flow downpipe make a noticeable difference on turbo spool sounds such as the video. Also does an intake really change the noise for spooling
No to your first question. turbo spool sounds the same to me.Yes to your second question. An aftermarket intake makes a huge difference in turbo spool sound. If you get a GTS hood itll sound even louder since it has a vent in the hood.

You need one but its always good to get a new one. I had already gotten a new one when I installed the high flow cat so I didn't think it was necessary to get another new one for this catless dp install
How long did it take to put the band from down pipe to turbo? Any secrets or tips to get it? I tried it for like 5 hours and never got it.
Well this was my 3rd time doing that so it only took a few minutes for me to get it seat properly. My very first time doing it did take longer probably like 30 minutes but it still didnt take me 5 hours lol. The main thing I did was just have it ready in a position before you place the down pipe against the turbo and then once you seat the the downpipe on the turbo just move the clamp overtop the point a which they both meet and squeeze the clamp together at the bottom where the bolt goes. Thats really all I did. not sure why you weren't able to do it. What exactly were you struggling with?
@@InlineSixAuto For me the vband literally wouldnt close around the turbo and downpipe no matter what way I did it.
@@sircruse1422 Was it the original clamp that held the stock downpipe to the turbo? or did you get a new one? did you try just testing it by putting it around the downpipe just to see if it would fit?
@@InlineSixAuto Probably the original clamp, but it has been removed and put back on a couple times in the past few years so it hasn't just been sitting. It did fit around just the downpipe
Does the x drive model take the same Dow pipe?
No I believe there’s a different downpipe for xDrive
Hello everybody my name is Luke and I just bought a 2013 bmw 335i, that has a cat less down pipe. I live in Colorado where I have to pass emissions to register the car but I’m not sure what I need to buy in order to pass emissions. Nothing other is done to the car besides a cat less down pipe and a charge pipe. Would I have to buy a new catalytic converter and put it on to pass emissions?

No it will still get a check engine light without the tune.
U can with a active autowerk catted downpipe

People need to stop promoting CTS Turbo. Once you have a quality issue with them their service is horrible. People had several problems with their products. This company should stay away from the BMW comunity.
We'll I've had zero problems with now 5 of their products so. Though I can't really speak for their service.
