Disappointed in the removal of some cuts, mainly the turn around one that was incredibly unique. I can see the CTGP Track Council have had some input based on the CTGP Track Wishlist page, hope they're not the reason for these changes but it looks likely. The original version is superior to me because it challenges the idea of making tracks the same way Nintendo do, that's why I play CTs otherwise I'd just play the 32 courses. Unfortunately CTGP has become infected with far too many bland courses that play in an identical fashion to Nintendo tracks, that's the direction the Track Council take the pack in. This track will remain one of the most inventive CTs out there even with the changes, but said changes are upsetting to me due to the creativity factor being less high than it was at before. I'll still view this as one of the best tracks I've seen, but if I ever do a list of favourite CTs I'll stick to v1.
Yea i can definitely understand you, the removal of the turn around shortcut was a difficult decision but i think it is for the better as it did save like 6 seconds over the normal route. Maybe that type of cut will make a return in one of my future tracks in a less overpowered form. Im still glad you enjoy the track tho!
Also i can recommend playing v1.1 as it is the last version with the turn around cut while having some of the other visual/gameplay changes that for sure improve the track.
@@Metabus_ I would agree, if it wasnt possible shroomless aswell. My best guess would be one of the SCs towards the end (the mud one or the roof at the 2nd to last corner)
also i know this is kinda late but you might be able to do a double trick on the second halfpipe, use the boost to take the dirtcut shroomless and use the shroom at a different spot. but its so precise you would need some sort of assist by some kind of tools to pull it off... anyways there is also this which is pretty neat: cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/413505687096918047/928670600824774656/InShot_20220106_152415429.mp4
@@TASSnoop saw your TAS just now, did you not try double tricking off the zipper for the shroomless mud cut? Similar to rWS turnskip, then you can shroom through the first mud cut
How hard are these cuts as a trash player who well only has 150 gold stars and only hit 9k vr like six times I’m wondering how many of these cuts I should be able to pull off hopefully half of them I hope it’s fine if not track still is very epic
@@Metabus_ that is epic glad to see that this track is like desert fort where most of the cuts aren’t to hard I love how this track seems to reward sweats without punishing casuals and still has some cuts casuals can pull off
Great theme and design. Terrible execution, still dont like the idea there being 30 shortcuts, strats and paths. Just makes the track so much more uncompetitive
fair enough, thanks for being honest. while i always liked tracks with multiple routes and shortcuts i can understand the track isnt for everyone. just out of curiosity tho, do you like desert fort?
Gonna have to agree with this. I highly respect the obvious dedication and thought that went into making this track. That said, as someone who only plays karts, I know I stand absolutely no chance against funkies on this course and will dread playing it in worldwides unfortunately.
why would you ever remove a shortcut!!! honestly, I've been looking for someone to teach me how to make ct's as there isn't much tutorial and I have 3 years+ blender experience. I have install wimms tools and szs tool and kcl thing but so far I don't have many ideas of what to make I would love to help you develop new shortcuts and strats for the course @Metabus
Can't believe it took so long for the greatest, and most thoughtful custom track to be created. Everything about this track is perfection
Shame you had to take away some cuts but this is still the best thing I've ever seen! Nice job and can't wait to see more 😀
With so many shortcuts, it must have been hell to get the Key Checkpoints to work properly!
i had to fiddle around with them a bit yea, but it could have been worse
Yes, yes, yes! Legendary track, easily in my top 3 favourite CTs of all time. Amazing job! 🔥
goin crazy with the alt routes! i can tell this is gonna be a classic
15 seconds in and I'm already convinced that this track deserves a ticket straight into ctgp. Bravo my friend 👏
And a ticket it has just received :)
Great work! Can't wait to see what tracks you have in the future.
What’s the song in the background?

super impressive work
Cant wait to play this in ctgp :)
you dont need to wait anymore!

Now that the turn around sc is gone, what do you think is the best shroomspot?
probably the turnskip (at the u-turn)
@@Metabus_ I would agree, if it wasnt possible shroomless aswell. My best guess would be one of the SCs towards the end (the mud one or the roof at the 2nd to last corner)
