Nah. While this guy may not be evil, he doesn't deserve awards. All his ideas are less practical versions of others people's ideas. One time he suggested dragging nets across the ocean floor to clean up plastic... this would destroy the ocean floor. Again, he's not evil but he needs other smarter people doing the real thinking. He's just a CEO, like Elon Musk, but not so far gone.

A lot of people get inspired to do such things because they receive the message. What the road blockers are doing is the most unintelligent way to communicate the message, but what Greta did with Fridays for Future was a good idea, and it worked. Today I was cleaning four large bags of fragile microplastics. That stuff get everywhere and cleaning and collecting that is a pain in the neck. Then I fully comprehend the importance and scale of what you do for the planet and I must bow really low before your work.

That location must pose some real challenges, but wow would it be spectacular if you could add some sort of conveyer or other automated method to continually clean the trash from in front of the boom and pile it up on shore somehow, to give more overall storage capacity between visits by the truck and scooper. Maybe borrow some solar tech from the interceptor. Great work, keep it up!

Keep your eye on this man, he has a sound plan and it seems to be a valid system but scaling up is prolly a big undertaking! Makes sense to have all these little cleaners scattered all over all the while investing in scaling up.

Every little bit makes a difference, and several thousand tons of trash make a HUGE difference. Maybe if you went outside and cleared an area near your home of litter, you'd be able to appreciate the results better.
