A Jewish man discovers that Jesus is Jewish!

  • Bill grew up in a religious Jewish family and was heavily involved in Jewish life. He knew a lot about the religion of his Jewish people, but felt he did not really know the God of the Jewish People. He believed that there had to be more to God than just traditions.
One of his Jewish friends had a New Testament, and one day Bill decided to read it. As he read the words of Jesus, he saw how a person can know not just stories from the Bible, but know the author of the Bible. As he studied further, he saw his people’s expectations fulfilled in Yeshua the Messiah.

I know right?! The Pure Joy that hits us when we hear that one of God's children has returned from such long term exile!!!!! Hallelujah!!! Praise Adonai Elohim (Lord God) and Praise His Eternal Son Yeshua Messiah/Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour forever of the order of Melchizedek (PriestKing) our great High Priest King! I love Jesus! I live you sister thank you for showing that your joy matched my own! I immediately had to text you! May God bless you exceedingly abundantly beyond all you see or imagine! Amen! Oh and P. S. to the commentor above amen does not simply mean so be it. It actually means "that is the truth and i agree" and i suppose so be it comes after but amen can be shouted with Joy just as this wonderful sister did because a new found brother found Jesus indeed let the entire Church say Amen! We who are in Christ are free indeed!

Can I ask you a question? I grew up in a very non-Christian, liberal, California home and was 17 years old when my grandma passed away. My mother cried in my lap the night she got the news and then went to bed. I sat up in my bed and asked my grandma to give me a sign that she is still alive. I may have been asking God for a sign but I think I just asked for a sign. I kept asking that my grandma would please come visit me. All of a sudden something went through my body and took control of me. It was pure love but it was also very overwhelming. I jumped up and ran down to the living room where I yelled out my little sister's name and she just said, "What?" I knew she would never believe me so I just said, "Never mind". Was that the Holy Spirit? I'm a Christian now but I have yet to experience anything like that since then.

“Yea, behold, I will tell you in your mind and in your heart, by the Holy Ghost, which shall come upon you and which shall dwell in your heart.
Now, behold, this is the spirit of revelation; behold, this is the spirit by which Moses brought the children of Israel through the Red Sea on dry ground.
Therefore this is thy gift; apply unto it, and blessed art thou, for it shall deliver you out of the hands of your enemies, when, if it were not so, they would slay you and bring your soul to destruction.”

I'm not sure that as a Catholic you know or realize that Catholicism teaches that you do not have forgiveness of sins and eternal life as the epistles teach, ESPECIALLY as the Spirit teaches through the apostle Paul- see Ephesians 1-2, note vss 6-8; John -see 1 John --5:13-- and the Lord when he is addressing the nation Israel alone-see John 5, the people he was sent to according to him- see Matthew 15:25; Matthew 10:5-6.

      @@Rightlydividing-wx1xb How AMAZING
Catholicism is 2000 years old AND you ask me this question!?
Catholics amd Orthodox Christians understand this more deeper than any other Christian!
Christs promise of the fullness of The Resurrection in Him ( ask Martha) and what we must do to belong in Him.
To also be even more , to become" An Overcomer"!Unless you receive the Holy Spirit you will not bear the good fruits within Christ. The Upper Room where Jesus told them to go and pray until the COMING of The Holy Spirit, this is vital news still, the day of Pentecost! This came way after all were given Baptism by John as Christ told all to recieve than to pray for Confirmation of the Holy Spirit in each soul. ALL the Virtues and gifts to come alive then.
Baptism is the beginning to being adopted Children to God again. Claim your adoption: keep GOING forth into the Holy Spirit daily into the fullness of Christ each day also into the Father TOO.
May the saints through their intercession in heaven lighten your journey

I love these testimonies ... but what of a gentile discovering the roots of her faith after decades of being told a lie.I grew up in a very abusive cult who taught new covenant theology and that the Jews killed Jesus and that the gentiles are the newly chosen. Nothing ever felt right to me so then decades later, I began to study the roots of my faith only to discover the abundance of error, fallacy and false teachings. Beginning with Constantine of Rome, I began to become greatly offended especially over the false teachings of Easter vs Passover. How can an emporer superimpose a bunny rabbit over my suffering lamb? Just one example of many.Much like the Jew, I am a Gentile who has finally found the true Messiah but the one question that still remains is, where do I belong? I’ve always, since I could remember, had a love in my heart for the Jewish people so how could I remain in a church who didn’t love them too. I’ve had to leave behind family and friends ... it’s been a very lonely journey to the cross but at least things make sense to me now.Replacement Theology, such a tragedy to the true remnant of God.I pray for all Jews and Gentiles alike to come to the fullness of the truth that our G-d is Jewish, that our Jesus is, was and will forever be Jewish and that he has not abandoned the covenant or his first chosen, the Jewish brethren and the people of Israel

I am in the same situation. It seems like most Christians don't have any idea about the true roots of the ' Church ' ( Kahal ). Yeshua is returning to Yerushalayim to rule and reign, not New York, Vancouver, or Tokyo. Our Master said that not one jot of Torah is removed yet we do not seem to realize that YHVH, Abba our Father Himself rested and blessed it. We seem to believe there ' might ' be 9 commandments. It occurred to me the day that when the Word says in the latter times gressy grace will be rampant and most people's love will grow cold....it's true.
How important to keep our eyes on Yeshua, the author and completer of our faith.

When I first became a Christian which was around 40 years ago I was so overjoyed with my newfound faith in God. My family had a Jewish friend. I remember his name was Bruce. He was from Brooklyn. We were living in Puerto Rico. Bruce came over one day and I told him about what had happened to me. And being a gentleman that he was he listen to me. I mean he really listened to me. To make a long story short Bruce decided to accept Jesus-he said a prayer with me and asked Jesus into his heart. You should see the look on Bruce's face! And he told me, wow! I feel like I had a big sack of potatoes on my back for years and it's lifted, it's gone. I feel brand new. I will never forget that day. Since then I've lost contact with Bruce. I wish him well if he's still alive. To think that the first person that I was able to bring to the Lord was a Jew. What a privilege. I pray that God will continue using me bringing Jews to Christ. I feel like these videos are helping me to know how to minister to them. Oh and one other thing ...for the first time in my life I will visit Israel in October/November 2019. Praise God and Hallelujah.

The power of the Word of God never ceases to amaze me. It has the power to bring the truth about God into one's life, and you're right, when you have the truth about God, you have everything you need in this life.

      Yes it is!
Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom..... But, let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and KNOWETH me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these I delight, saith the LORD.
      (Jeremiah 9: 23, 24).

We have an old saying in the South in the New Testament you can’t throw a dead cat without hitting a Jew! I am so glad God sent his Son through a people that so carefully kept their writings and worship! My wife and I are reading the Old Testament, I am amazed how meticulously written it is, family lines and the rules for worship! I may be a wild olive grafted to Abraham, but I am so very blessed God saved me too through His Jewish Son!

    2 Corinthians 5:21 (AMP)
21 He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious loving kindness].
    Romans 10:1-13 (AMP)
1 Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God for Israel is for their salvation.
2 For I testify about them that they have a certain enthusiasm for God, but not in accordance with [correct and vital] knowledge [about Him and His purposes].
3 For not knowing about God’s righteousness [which is based on faith], and seeking to establish their own [righteousness based on works], they did not submit to God’s righteousness.
4 For Christ is the end of the law [it leads to Him and its purpose is fulfilled in Him], for [granting] righteousness to everyone who believes [in Him as Savior].
5 For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law [with all its intricate demands] shall live by it.
    6 But the righteousness based on faith [which produces a right relationship with Him] says the following: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into Heaven?’ that is, to bring Christ down;
7 or, ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ that is, to bring Christ up from the dead [as if we had to be saved by our own efforts, doing the impossible].”
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”-that is, the word [the message, the basis] of faith which we preach-
9 because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous-being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will not be disappointed [in his expectations].”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord over all [of us], and [He is] abounding in riches (blessings) for all who call on Him [in faith and prayer].
13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord [in prayer] will be saved.”
    Peace

As a young boy Jesus was teaching at congregations by the temple on the Laws and the Torah........this act in itself was most revealing because at the time only the judges (religious leaders). had access to the sacred writings in the Torah.....and among thousands there were very few writings available to a very very few selected group I'd Rabbis...an how a son of a carpenter would have acquired. such knowledge was very shocking to the religious leaders...it was almost like a case of "the boy who knew too much"....
