  • Peter Blasser, the artist + inventor behind Ciat-Lonbarde, Ieaskul F. Mobenthey and synthmall.com, visits Control to discuss his handmade SHTAR, the Cocoquantus, aspects of his programming language SHLISP and Fish, the solar powered Tocante series, jazz and other inspirations. Shot on location at Control, a synthesizer brick & mortar shop located in the South Williamsburg Neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY.

      This reminds me of the great BBC-produced kids’ sci-fi of the 1970s - _Doctor Who, Blake’s 7,_ but above all _The Tomorrow People_ - and Peter Blasser would be the eccentric genius the kids encounter at the climax, in the Tau Ceti system, who alone can save Earth but doesn’t yet know it.

    Suddenly the interface of the CocoQuantus makes perfect sense. Definitely a genius at work, but if it was really 'work', he'd probably stop immediately. So it must be something natural.

    im not gay and married but i love this guy and his work. just have an instrument from him just yet but one day im gonna have all his stuff. he is a genius in my personal opinion. alone his wbsite blew my mind away. the first instrument gonna be the tetrax organ the others are gonna follow!!!
