man i remember being 15 and listing to this at the park high thinking about how the world is so weird and that no one understands me, i realized that i didn't understand myself. after i found myself i noticed that no one understood me, but i was no longer alone, and i was no longer at rock bottom
played this at my little brothers funeral two years ago. he committed suicide on this very day in 2010. He was a big fan of the older dubstep artists because i got him into it... I will forever think of all the great memories i had with him when i hear this song so i thank you for that caspa and rusko.
"It's a lot quieter on the way down than the journey up, no-one wants you around when you've got nothing left. I wanted out so badly but I couldn't just walk away with nothing..." This. Is. Music!
This is pengstep, best tune at the end of a night watching the sun come up with a little reefer! Ignore the 4 dislikers no doubt there either flowrida listeners, american, or the wannabe rich boys rockin the hollister and abercrombie! haha Were still be listening to these beats in 2020
Lol right. Forgot about this song since 2009 and then my girlfriend said rockbottom yesterday while in bed about to fall asleep... theb i started to think.... that reminds me of something then i began to search and remembered it was the name of a song. I found it. Happy i did.
I tripped really, really hard listening to this song. I have this memory etched into my mind of me laying on my bed while the sun was going down, crying because it was such an emotional experience. Best and most powerful day of my life hands down.
Jacque Bureaux I was looking in my old "favorite" videos just now. Saw this from so long ago lol. Only reason I'm replying to this 3 years later is because I nearly forgot too..and just reminding you it's still here lol
So laidback. I love the dialogue. This song reminds me of Nero's Innocence, except this never gears up considerably. I've missed this song since finding it on imeem over two years ago, glad to rediscover.
@HelloFromTheGutter Electric Zoo. I missed Martyn's set, i got there in time to see him breaking his set down, and then it was mostly Electro House all day (Fake Blood was awesome) so finally Rusko goes on and like 20 minutes into the set he started playing Electro House. I was like wtf lol, still mad cool tho. I just stood on the outside of the tent next to the speakers since it was the bassiest and everyone was crammed inside the tent
this is like slowed down drum 'n' bass, almost liquid, I'm surprised I am, Caspa's stuff is so dark usually, and they've never made anything this chill as far as I've seen!
You know what i aint gonna lie i new to making dubstep and obviously been encouraged to make the lawn mower shit. Always been a massive fan of caspa and rusko for obvious reasons and to be real.... This is more me man, i think i am going to re-evaluate my direction because of songs like this. Im into euphoria and melodic stuff and to be honest this is worth while "MUSIC". Big up Caspa and Rusko for inspiration man.
I don't really care what everybody says about who's better and all that shit. The only thing that matters is that this is a great song. Perfect for some chilling with the subwoofers cranked.
It's alot quieter on the way down than the journey up, Noone wants you around when you've got nothing left, I wanted out so badly, but I couldn't just walk away with nothing.
Could we all just drop the whole discussion about brostep and just have comments about the song or dj? All we're doing is adding fuel to the fire. Let these kids be. Let them talk their shit. They're not worthy of understanding why we listen to dubstep. Peace.
This song and fabriclive.37 literally let me open my mind and see things differently 15 years ago.
It keeps me coming back
