    Really enjoyed this video. I was surprised at how fast this trimed the cases to length. Great machine and looking forward to final load and shooting of those loads.

    I do my conversion on a 650. I have an RT1200 trimmer and a ch4d 300blk trim die. I run a dedicated trim tool head for processing. Universal deprime like you do, then into the trim die. I found the ch4d must not be forming the brass right as I had chambering issues. So I picked up a spare Lee sizing die and run that after the trim die. Zero issues once I started doing that. Can’t swage on the press, so all brass still gets run through the Super Swage after being formed. Swap my tool head over to my loading tool head and toss that converted brass back in the case feed and start loading.

    Good vid! Im in the process of debugging 3 of these. Vids of the challenges you come across with indexing and breaking in would be a great topic. Get a honey badger from FFB. The bosch is a monster trimmer.

    I live in Washington state Iona Dylan 750 introverted a lot 300 blackout. One thing to remember if you do a lot 300 blackout order a new cutter for your case trimmer head Tesco fast especially do thousands it’s good to have a spare

    Always heard it was better to size 90% with the full length sizing die (no expander/decap pin) then finish with the trim die. Mandrel is a good idea, instead of an M die. Now you just need to get an AMP mate and install it on a Giraud trimmer.

    I just received a large package of 223/556 cases this week, It is my first time with that caliber. I am in the process of a lot cleaning and prep work on them..... i was thinking of doing half in 223/556 and the other half in 300BO. I do not own any kind of AR though. I need to get something some day.....

    This is great when you could find the reloading supplies such as primers and powders but these days it’s still hard to find these things. I still don’t understand why primers and powders are still hard to find!!

    I use a chop saw with a fancy bracket for the round... this of course WAY faster... but my setup cost ~100$ and I have done 1000s of rounds... but again not this fast lol

    Great video. Curious as to how long a cutter head lasts with that much cutting. Is heat generation a concern on the cutting blade?

  • @JeffinTD
    @JeffinTD ปีที่แล้ว

    Though everything measures fine, with a progressive IMHO it wouldn’t be a bad idea to load and fire a handful of that processed brass before you make thousands. You’d have to really like 300 blackout to make that machine pay, but if you do I’m sure it’ll be awesome.
