Thanks for sharing your reaction, its really sad how most of the blue lock reactors dont like or dont care about this movie. To me its so special, Nagi and Reo's relationship is my absolute favorite but even above that, when I saw the movie in theater I felt like it was the first time I truly understand Nagi, even tho I read his manga hahahaha it took me to watch this movie to get his awakened passion and what was stolen from him in that match. Im so glad to see u tear up for Reo cause I was sobbing for him, my poor boy. Thanks again for the video
Glad you liked it!! I'm surprised people would not really be interested in the movie because although it is a lot of the same stuff from season 1, it still adds a lot of context in regards to Nagi and Reo and their relationship, which i agree is very special
The additional time at the end of the movie was the one I got in the UK screening there is actually a few different versions for release which showed different things. For the ‘spoilers’ about the BL 11 I wouldn’t read into it too much, it’s actually a warm up game from the manga which includes people who don’t actually play in the U-20 game. A lot of people didn’t like the movie too much as it ended up showing a lot of the same stuff obviously and the second selection was basically a montage but I enjoyed it, I especially liked how it depicted Reo and Nagi’s relationship compared to the first season, seeing Reo’s inner thoughts when Nagi chose to play with Isagi and how he was proud of Nagi’s evolution was really touching.
For the film/anime not being available online there are a few websites you can use as long as you have an adblocker, 9anime upload’s basically as soon as the episode releases in Japan and has accurate subtitles and good streaming quality and is how Iv watched a lot of things before they become available on other platforms.

I understand why people wouldn't like the movie that much if they were expecting to see mostly new stuff instead of the same matches, but i personally loved it and loved being able to see nagi and reo's relationship
Its hard to say whether or not there will be a second movie covering the 2nd selection. The ep nagi manga releases monthly and the second selection still isnt done yet lol. So spoiler warning in the event they end up making a second movie some day but heres what was cut: Before the 3v3 we see kuni, chigiri and reo training. Kuni and Chigiri are off to the bath and reo sees them chatting and smiling and remembered how him and nagi would be as happy. We now see reo sitting down in front of the shower, wallowing, and angry at himself for being still upset about nagi. He wonders if nagi thinks reo will make it to the next stage and if he is "living it up with isagi." He knows he should cut all emotional ties with nagi and not sit there with his feelings but he cant help but feel them. He looks up to the mirror, tears in his eyes "I hate myself right now." He hears a familiar voice and then we get the bath scene. During the 3v3 he sees nagi doing moves he couldn't do before. He wonders what the difference is between him and isagi, how can isagi get nagi to change this much? Game progresses fast, theres a cool panel of reo calling isagi an adaptability demon. We get the last bit of the game. Reo is thinking once he wins this nagi will finally see that Reo is superior to isagi and he "should give it up." Reo sends the last pass to chigiri but nagi intercepts. Reo remembers his dads words "Give it up, you'll never make it starting so late. You're my successor." He cant believe that he tried to direct those same words his father told him onto nagi.Barou gets the ball and goes on a rampage, reo cant predict it. He sees that barou isn't afraid of being broken and reborn, reo is still afraid to do so. He acts like he has it all figured out and says stuff like "I'll make you see reality." Telling nagi to give up. "Right now I'm utter trash." *Barou scores* "Ah.. I wanna die. Somebody just kill me." Moving to when isagi chooses chigiri and nagi goes up to reo, telling him how amazing he is and his pass was the one only he could make. "Stop it nagi. Your kindness is painful now. Please just stop." Nagi says he's going on ahead, it cuts to the scene in the movie when what reo wanted to say "Okay nagi, go ahead, let's meet again beyond our dreams." We get to the part when reo asks why not pick him and calls out nagi for changing. "There's so much I wanted to tell you but...we can never go back" Nagi does his speech about him being a pain. "Thank you nagi for finishing me off." "You and I can end here and now." Nagi is conflicted about what reo said about changing, he is annoyed and is new to this feeling that he doesn't know what to call it. He doesn't know which of them is correct but also doesn't care. He "can't stop feeling conflicted." During the 4v4 nagi is only wanting to get stronger he is getting mad at reo calling him out for changing, "I'm not your toy reo" and does the 2 shot fake volley and scores. A lot of thinking happens, comparing bachira and isagi to himself and reo. It's late and don't want to get it all 😂 After isagi is chosen Nagi thinks to himself "I still want to play football." The rest of ep nagi is all new content and isn't really important atm as it has characters you'll get to know down the line.
DAMNNNN, id love to see a second movie one day though even if its very far in the future, i love getting little glimpses into all the different characters and their thoughts:), with this one i started liking reo even more than i did before

Yeah the art style for season 2 is really nice and the first bit of animation was good, could fall off a little in the first couple episodes but Isagi’s VA said most of the animation budget has gone into the U-20 match where it’s needed the most

season 2 episode 1 has great animation for now lmao, better than the first season even
