Graig, the way I see it is you spent your monthly budget on the Spahn. The rest is the blown part. And it’s all highly desired pre-war cards you wanted to add to your collection. Rarity of all of those pre-war cards in your targeted condition deserves the blown part of your budget. Congratulations on those types of pick ups. Every one of those may rarely come up when you are inside your budget. We all know life doesn’t work that way. You made good choices on acquiring those cards and securing them into your collection- good job. Remember, most all regrets in this hobby are the ones you passed on, not the ones you bought.
Hi Graig. What an awesome video of just incredible pickups. All of those cards have just incredible eye appeal. You had a wonderful month, adding to just a great year in pickups. Thanks for sharing my friend, talk soon pal.
Congratulations on your awesome pickups Graig!! Amazing eye appeal on the 1953 Spahn and Stengel rookie cards!! I am so excited for you!! You really hit a home run!!
Great pickups, love the pirate a&g cards dont have any buy they just look fun to collect. of course, amazing spahn and stengel acquisitions. i added several this past month so any budget i had is 🤯.
Hi Graig, Thanks for sharing your pickups. I mean WOW! I love the pirates cards and of course the 1953 Bowman Color PSA 4 Warren Spahn! Just a beautiful card for a 4! Enjoy your filthy lucre matey! Peter
The Stengel rookie is awesome. When spending big money on big things I always come back to this: how many times have you even seen that card???? I bet not many! These things just aren’t really out there in circulation!
Gave a video like. Some huge pick-ups this month, Graig! Congrats on all of those! The color on those T206 cards is terrific. Huge fan of the Cracker Jack set, that is a beauty. Just posted a video I tagged you in, responding to your question of the week. Great video and congrats again, Graig!
Congratulations on adding those quality cards! Your eye for centering and eye appeal is next level. Also, your focus on Yankees captains is such a worthy and cool focus. You are right, the image on the Cracker Jack is extremely cool.
Dude!!! You finally got the 53 Bowman Color Spahn! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I still remember you passing on a decent copy at a card show a while back. The wait was worth it-absolutely gorgeous example. What an amazing card. Big time congrats. 🎉🙌🏻😁
Awesome pick-ups, Graig. Congrats! Question for a Wednesday video. Are you considering putting out a top 25/50 cards in your collection video at the end of this year? Those are some of my favorite to watch and I know you would do an incredible job presenting it. Anyways, no pressure and thanks for the content as always. -Haines
I love your Pickups! I did not know Vic Willis was a HOFamer and its a beautiful card. Your pirates are really amazing. Casey Stengel went to my Dental School in Kansas City Missouri. So you blew your budget do not feel guilty sometimes you have no choice.
Wow! Congrats on the pickups, Graig! All have extremely high eye appeal. Also, the Stengel rookie is amazing! Didn’t we have a discussion on HOF manager rookie cards 😆? Well, you got a nice one for sure. Take care!
Congrats on some really great pick ups. I like the Stengel and Spahn. Those '53 Bowman Color cards are beautiful, aren't they? Hope you enjoy the weekend, Graig!
I suspect it is the vivid colors of the Braves uniform, but just like your Red Heart Warren Spahn, I will say again for the 1953 Bowman Warren Spahn, in my opinion, it is probably the best looking card in the set. Sure, the Red Heart Mantle is a nice (and expensive) card, but it just looks muted and pale looking compared to the Spahn. Likewise, the 53 Bowman Spahn is awash with blinding color. Now I have to go get one as well. Thanks Graig.
I wonder why that pirate Bradley needed a baggie inside the slab. He fit snugly between the ridges without help. Captain Gow, too, is gorgeous. Does the hanging in the background depict his ultimate fate?
Must be the Autumn. As soon as it came there have been so many of my vintage targets get listed for great prices. Slow drip the last two years, but if this continues I’ll be bankrupt!😂
Awesome cards Graig, budget, what budget, lol. Love the tobacco's and history. I have a Roger Clemons card you may be interested in, I think I have your email. Let's connect.

Fairly new to your channel, but I’m really enjoying it. I’m middle-aged and I’m watching all of my mentors slowly pass. Life is short. Buy the cards.
That means a lot. I really appreciate the kind words. This is a great community.
These pick ups are fantastic
I really appreciate that. Thank you.
Awesome pick-ups, Graig. Congrats!

That's a great question. I'll share my thoughts on this soon.

Good question.
You ain’t livin’ until you blow your budget!
Yeah. But now you're the president of our hobby. I'm hoping for better livin' conditions. 😉
Blew it out of the water, Matey!!
Budget. Blown!!
Must be the Autumn. As soon as it came there have been so many of my vintage targets get listed for great prices. Slow drip the last two years, but if this continues I’ll be bankrupt!😂
Me too!!
Long winded...
Correct.
Awesome cards Graig, budget, what budget, lol. Love the tobacco's and history. I have a Roger Clemons card you may be interested in, I think I have your email. Let's connect.
