The hardest part of installing beads on shotgun barrels for me was getting the bead holding wrench (basically a modified pin vise) tight enough to work without slipping, but not so tight as to mar the bead.
yes! I shot one of the beads across the room setting it in the holder. A set of hose clip pliers can do a very good job as well.the ones with the slots milled in a cross on the jaws
I buy them individually based on my needs. I find generally in gunsmithing you only need a small selection of good quality taps. and the individually purchased ones for some reason seem to be of better quality than the sets.

A question from a hobby smith to a professional smith, What tap and die set do you use? Did you build it yourself or did you buy a commercial set?
