Is it just me or does the translation feel a little off? I just feel like what Austin says about the sign name, sometimes it feels more like he would have used "you", and "they" feel a little unnatural in English in this context?? but idk sign, so this is just speculation :P
Yeah, perhaps it's not 100% right, but ASL isn't Austin's first language, like it is for Sandra and Daniel. He's having to do a translation in his head, as he signs, which isn't easy. You see Daniel make similar sort of grammatical mistakes on his Instagram captions. Because English isn't his first language. It goes both ways. :)

I didn't see any pronouns used in that section. ASL doesn't always require them once you've got your subject established. like when the captions say "it's like they've had a baby," he's signing "SAME HAVE BIRTH BABY." the translator likely put "they" because English needs the pronoun.
