Red Dead Redemption 2 was and still is my favourite game but the platinum grind was far far too tedious. I can’t believe I actually pushed through and got it.
Outlast two their was two trophies I needed to get one was finish the game in insane mode and the other was finish the game in insane mode but do not reload battery so I was basically going through the whole game without any. Battery long story short after the 15 time of dieing repeatedly at the same damn spot at the end I gave up deleted off my system and almost 4 years later haven’t thought about it until now
I am going to get it I just take so many breaks lol

@@Collier990RHCP You can do 90% of online trophies basically offline. Search for a "collector" role on online. You will basically turn into collectibles hunter and get insane amount of XP for the founded treasure sets. It took me like 20 hours. Just enjoy traveling around the most beautiful map ever made and grab treasures till you get level 50. Search for an online map with the collectibles showned and just follow it. The collectibles refresh every 24 hours. That' s why it's such a great strategy.

Man I feel you here on this one. I never finished the Crash games 20 years ago. However, we do have TH-cam and guides now on this stuff so maybe it won't be as bad as it was back in the 90s
I got all the achievements in the first one, and I must say the last level is definetly the hardest one. It took me a few weeks of grinding. I'm planning on finishing the other two games, but decided to take a few months break because of how tedious the hard levels of the first one were. But it is possible with practice!
PS: The levels are very well designed, I really liked the game in general.
Man i did stormy ascent time trial, was tough but like you said you just have to stick it out and keep going. Can’t say how many times I died nearly at the end but you’ll get there. All about patience and learning the course

I know it's hard, but sometimes you got to know your limit. If a game is feeling more like a chore, then fun. Then it's time to call it a day and move on with your life
I have really enjoyed watching your videos. I don't have the Uncharted games completed on my list either. The platinum trophy and a few of the DLC trophies were satisfying enough for me. I'm also missing all of the Last of Us multiplayer trophies because I didn't like the multiplayer at all and I'm absolutely horrible at it. Kung Fu Panda Showdown of Legendary Legends remains unfinished because of the multiplayer trophies too. I only need one more trophy on Sonic Mania, but it's for collecting all of the blue orbs and rings in the bonus rounds... Yeah, I'm not doing that either.

Don't think I have ever seen a trophy hunter mention mount and blade before. Such a good good I also gave up on it due to the multiplayer trophies, such a ballache to do.

It’s honestly not that bad, I think I did the multiplayer in under 5 hours. You just have to find a dead lobby (easy to find in a game like this) and boost it with a friend. Hardest part is finding a friend with this game lol.

You should take a look on Devil May Cry franchise, dmc 4 is the most difficult one

I've got 100% on all Uncharted's on PS4, aside from Lost Legacy
The time commitment wasn't much of a problem back then when I was 15 and had all the free time in the world haha, if I was in your situation i'd not bother doing them now either. Decent shout to potentially try them if you start streaming
Yeah they are quite big commitments each. Probably another 15 hours for each of the first three at least. Yeah I was thinking of doing a cheeky stream or either UC1 or crash at some point

Currently doing brutal/speedrun for Uncharted 3 and I feel ya, really can't be bothered but not seeing the 100% like the other 2 is driving me mad.

Definitely feel you on the uncharted 1-3 ones, I did brutal on 1 and it just put me off the other two games.
I finished red dead earlier this year and god damn it was intense, definitely worth it in the end. Great video man!
Yeah all of the games just involves long period of replaying encounters again and again and. I just am never feeling it. Plus my backlog is enormous. I just wanna play all the new games

Most of the games I've played that I came close to getting the platinum on ended up being unfinishable thanks to server closures. Mortal Kombat and WWE '13 are a couple of them.
Mine is demon's souls PS3. I'm trying to fix that and platinum it because it's great!!! Keep up the great work!!!

Bloodborne is the only game I ever bothered getting the platinum and there is no fluff, the platinum just forces you to unteract with every bit of optional content in the game, which as you know in souls game is not copy and paste garbage.

Not hard, but very time consuming...
Very similar to GtaV, but takes even more time to plat.
Took 7 weeks to earn all the trophies and i played every day 4-6 hours.

Every games from Rockstar Games are time consuming to achieve platinum, especially if there are multiplayer/online trophies.
I have achieved platinum in RDR1, GTA 4, L.A. Noire and GTA 5.
Some of the multiplayer trophies in GTA 4 are absolutely insane compared to those in GTA 5.
Maybe I will give RDR2 a try one day :)

I started trophy hunting just in 2016 so i never went for the Rdr1 and Gta4 platinums/100%.
I've played those games ofc, but at the time i didn't care about trophies and now it's too late to earn them...

Just finished Gravity Rush's DLC today, its not nearly as bad as it seems, but you need to level up the powers a lot for a couple challenges

I have the dlc trophies for uncharted 4. Was a lot of fun. What I don’t have is platinum because collectible trophies glitched. In fact all the uncharted games glitch on me at one point or another. Sucks cuz I actually want to platinum them
Uncharted was hard enough on crushing let alone brutal, somehow i managed to do the game with 0 tweaks on crushing it werent terrible but it was hard 🤣🤣. I definetly feel ya on not finishing the DLC trophies for the uncharted but great vid man

Even if you can't get the platinum in Crash Bandicoot you could still try to get a few more trophies just to get rank A on psnprofiles. Then every single game on your list would be rank A or higher and you wouldn't have that one game sticking out with that yellow rank C anymore. That's what I personally like to go for on my account. Always rank A or better, which means that in each game I got more trophies than most people got in it. That way I can also play games that are too difficult to get the platinum in.

@@Dogge497 the trophy where you have to complete errands for the camp. If you finish the game without doing any you can only finish 2 so you have to reply the game
so I do trophy runs in series for example all the star wars games or currently yakuza etc takes a long time but it is kinda fun never actually start games and leave them. 😁

The Witness and that time trial trophy, Fall Guys with the "come in first 20 times" and "first after emoting" trophies, and then GTA V with basically all of the online trophies are some that I hate

I stopped caring about gta 5 trophies after I got the close shave trophy. Man, that sucked
The u4 survival community is probably still active. I got the dlc trophies a few months ago thanks to a random Spanish guy and a Russian guy. They made the dlc go from like a 10/10 in difficulty down to a 3 thanks to an exploit that for some reason hasn’t been patched where you can do a stealth kill animation on the bosses.

In my case I couldn't get dirt rally and gran turismo sport, the first one is just too hard and the later one the online trophies kill me(because my inter sucks at all), and I shall also recommend you crash bandicoot, it's hard but with practice you'll eventually get them 💪

For Red Dead Redemption 2 the 70 gold medals trophy isn't too bad imo. There's like over a hundred missions so you can pick and chose the easier ones to get to 70 gold medals. It's a fairly easy platinum but just requires a lot of time. I really enjoyed doing it.
Yeah I know to me the 70 gold medals was super fun. I think the reason why people hate it is cause it gets boring cause it's long but not really hard but it was really fun for me
At release it was horrible. You had only some basic stuff in your inventory when replaying missions. Only after the December 2019 Update you could use the weapons and items you currently owned.
There are lots of games I won't be able to platinum, but the one I really wish I could platinum is Elder Scrolls Online. I have put more than 4000 hours into ESO over the last 7 years, but there are just too many trophies to complete it, and I'll never get the Emperor trophy. Way too hard.
As a trophy hunter, I would love it if I could achieve every trophy, but that's just a lot of time I would have to put in which I don't have. So instead, to keep myself somewhat satisfied, if I can achieve at least 60% of the trophies, then I'm good, because that would mean that I've experienced pretty much the whole game with almost every challenge. 100% would be nice, but I found that 60% is a sweet spot.

there is something you need o remember with cleaning up as well every trophy you earn is an accompishment even if you cnat get the plat as long as you get even 1 trophy your missing thats great for your completion
with cleaning up I had to give up on some games as wel where I just cnat get the plat still got all other trophies for itI could though

Wolfenstein II: new colossus is an insanely hard game to plat because of only one trophy which is beat the game on mein Leben difficulty. Basically, all enemies do a ton of damage (I think 2 shots with full armor depending on weapon) and you have to beat the game without dying or it completely resets. You cant save your game and there is no checkpoints. It takes about 10 hours to beat the story if you rush. It’s safe to say I don’t have it lol
Yeah this trophy is just bullshit. I think youre insane if youre trying it because its no fun and their are much more difficult games which dont require perma death
I got Dark Souls Remastered platinum and currently working on DS 2 Scholar right now. I’ll have DS 3 and Sekiro finished before the end of the year.
Just restarted older games for completion sake, Uncharted Drake's fortune is trully brutal on brutal :), it was hard but I enjoyed the franchise, give it a go.

Anything with trophies that are locked behind multiplayer for me I absolutely refuse to do multiplayer if at all possible mainly because random players are annoying if I cant hook up a 2nd controller or complete it without someone playing with me I will not bother how ever there are 2 games I did not platinum and gave up on without multiplayer trouble watch dogs 1 and kingdom hearts birth by sleep final mix I suck at rhythm games and that drinking game in watch dogs was impossible I eventually got it but only after I gave up for like several years and once I got a 2nd set of hands to work with me on it lol
Hey bud. I just did the errand trophy the other day on rdr2. And me being me is putting myself through it and actually doing all 21 errands. Some of them are a pain to spawn. I have done about 16 so far. And I am still on chapter 2. Il race ya to getting red dead plat. I'm 42% ATM to all trophies so long way to go still. I will look in the store later at that strategy game I love games like that. For the boosting of it once I do those trophies with you are the rest all single player ones? Or will I need to do s lot more online.

I've been earning Platinum trophies on and off since 2015. My first Platinum was Until Dawn and a few days ago I just got Platinum #100 with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

This is how my account should look. I had to start all over on a 98 platinum account but ended up doing some time. I been out 1 year an have 26 plats. A 6 year set back sucked and everyday all I did was think about all the games I would get back into/ missed out on. All the old games I am having a blast doing. Uncharted I wasn’t really into when that first came out but final fantasy 15 was just about to come out and now I just platinumed that. About to hit all the dlcs up. Also really liked Valhalla, Ghost of Tsushima, and elden ring. All easy plats.

@@hiimkiwi3047 Hey I just recently down rdr2 platinum. The best way to to it is the last thing you do is Arthur's grave, so when you get 100% cutscene you get the platinum.
When you lose your save you lose your trophies? I've deleted my save for a game a while back but never lost my trophy progression or am I understanding it wrong
Can confirm that even though Red Dead Redemption 2 is a great game, that getting the 100% is not worth it. So many hours finding collectibles and hunting in the gigantic map.
Attacking Zegeta 2 anyone ever going to platinum that game? No one has achieved a trophy on the whole list? Not one player has yet since it’s 2016 game launch. It’s tough but I enjoy it and the music. I have some ideas and I’m not giving up yet.
Platinum that iam most proud of are FFX and all dark souls games😁 quiet a challenge but enjoyable when the game is good.

Final fantasy X took me SEVERAL YEARS before I got lucky to get the chocobo trophy and finally get my platinum, it's no pushover either
I will never platinum Uncharted 2 or 3 because their multi-player servers are down, thus making the related trophies inaccessible.
I know you said you're not great at games, but as someone who also very recently completed Overcooked 2 (100%, DLCs included) I know how hard that was. Some of the levels were really crazy.
Especially Campfire 3-4 and Carnival 3-2. Those are the the only two I never got to see finished. I did all the others with a friend, but that friend did these two solo on both our accounts.
Personally, my proudest completed trophy lists are probably:
-Wolfenstein 2
-Unravel 2
-Mirror's Edge
I try to get 100% in game but because I'm not a fan of competitive and multiplayer I can't ever really get all achievements

I have 2 weeks holiday from next week on. Have 315 unearned trophies
and try to play it down with Life is Strange 2, Goat Simulator (DLC's only)
and MotoGP 14 includes online & some longer challenge trophies.
My "white whale" is Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockdown. Don't have the motivation to put in the time to win 10 games for the platinum.
The games that I've played that I've decided I'm not going to finish are Kingdom Hearts BBS. My reasoning is a rhythm game that I can't beat, ice cream beat. Even if I beat that, there is an intense grind that is going to be identical that I have to do 3 times. In addition, there is a difficult end game boss that was even more difficult than the one in Kingdom Hearts 2 that I said screw it and just used an exploit to beat due to the difficulty. And you have to beat that end game boss 3 times, once with each character with one being insanely difficult due to how slow the character is. There is also kena: bridge of spirits. The higher difficulties just feel unfun to me and I'm not even on the hardest difficulty.
I did the brutal difficulty without the cheats I guess that is what there called? I didn’t even know you could use them
Yeah, I just started Shadow of Colossus remake. It's an amazing game but I don't want to platinum yet

Some of the games in which I’m at least 90% completed but may never platinumed: HZD, Death Stranding, RE 7 and 8, FF7 re, Dark Souls 3, Demons Souls re, assassins creed oddisey and the wither 3.

I have got the red dead 2 platinum 2 days ago, my most proud platinum yet, it needed me 500 hours to get all of the trophies, single player is a masterpiece 10/10, but the online is garbage 2/10

Unfortunately I have no game I can't beat, just games I wish I'd never started. I'm currently powering through Black Ops 4 now because I made the mistake of getting to rank 10 (the only trophy I had out of a total 103) before I started trophy hunting. Now I've done 75 of them and have managed to rewatch Dexter and several movies in the background as I blast my way through one of the most irritating trophy lists I've done. The real kick in the balls though? only 1 gold, 12 silver and a sickening 89 bronze... I wish I had the ability to give up, this is a sickness.

Dexter is a great show! I also feel your pain i started black ops 3 because i absolutely love the zombies mode but it's just a massive slog.
@@aaronnf_9218 Certainly made me think twice about getting involved with games with such a huge list. I still have a series of long, boring grinds ahead of me like predator, Minecraft and ghost recon if I want my 100% average. Wish I'd just been into trophies from the start, fortunately I've only had a playstation for about 3 or 4 years, so the backlog isn't massive (about 20 games to finish).

Great game but terrible online trophy grind. Yeah most are decent games but I have just have better games in my backlog that I haven’t played yet
Bo3 platinum was the hardest think ever as the campaign was boring enough it was still a pain to get until I finally got it last year

I got the platinum for red dead 2 and honestly wish I didn’t it just made me have frustrating memories of the game

I got the plat trophy for demons souls on ps5. That was pretty fun tbh but also took so many hours and 4 playthroughs. Dark souls 3 plat was by far the most anoying one. Had to kill like 2k skeletons in the catacombs for a item.
Carthus skeleton vertebrae grinding was atrocious
Thank you for the warning regarding completion on the uncharted 4 ps4 version, survival sounds very unfun, for other 100 percent hunters i can recommend the ps5 legacy of thieves collection since they removed those survival trophies thankfully. Sad that its too late for you in that regard

I am 52% into Red Dead 2. Some day, i WILL beat that plat! I plan on going back and take small steps every gaming session.. Small steps add up in the long run..
But i can proudly say that i have plat+100% in GTA V on ps4 (Masterminds+Elitist trophies were a biiiitch), and i got 100% in Uncharted 4 survival DLC :D

@@cktoma89 3 times in blackjack, you have to hit 3 times and win. Sounds sorta easy right. No. It's cancer. You have to pray you get very low numbered cards and 3 amount to 21 or less. If the dealer also hits the number, you lose.
Oh and let's not forget the challenge after that no.9, which involves winning a domino game 3 times in a row and the games can be really time consuming. I'm not saying this to discourage you, I'm just warning you. But 100% rdr2 is the most fun platinum ever. Make sure the last thing you do for 100% is Arthur's grave

I have 3 games on my list that I can never finish due to closed servers .... makes my head hurt.
I'm right with you on the Red Dead 2 platinum, gold missions, 100% compendium, some more online and the missed errands. I hate it that I wanted to play the game without a guide and experience it fresh in all its glory, but I'm then punished for that by having missable trophies along the way. What a stunning game though and will be the pinnacle of my admittedly small collection of platinums.
Last difficult one was uncharted 3 that I think I don't want to do brutal at all and only went back and beat after bring si close on crudhing and most satisfying one last year was 13 sentinels
Yeah rdr2 was a pain in the bum. I gave up on it and went back after like a year and a half and got the platinum. Ended up hating on the game. Such a grind
