I will NEVER kneel no matter how bad my knees or back may be. The men and women who have given the Ultimate Sacrifice deserve strength and respect. At my grandfather's funeral when I was 9 years old, I stood there saluting his casket as they carried him out of the funeral home and to his final resting site. I do the same now at every first responder funeral I attend
God! This tore me apart. My grandpa had 2 purple hearts and cancer took him. He wrote a paper for my 9th-grade hero before he passed. Would love to share.
My dad was in the army, and I would gladly serve this country if i was able to (sadly, im not able to.. i have autism and they won't let me join) thank you to all the all the men and women who served this country and thank you to the men and women who are actively serving.. May the good Lord keep you safe and bring you home
This song hits way too close to home.. my best friend was killed in Afghanistan 2 years ago and never made it home. RIP SFC. Jason Shaffer, I miss you buddy, I’ll see you one day.
Just earlier this month I had my Grandfather's funeral. And, since he was in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II, he had this ceremony done to honor his time in service. Coming up on 12 years ago the same service was done for my other Grandpa who was in The Army during World War II, he was a survivor of of Omaha Beach on D-Day. And, also had the honour of experiencing this same ceremony back then, too. I'm miss them, but I am so proud of them, and what they did for our country. And, I now extend that same pride to my family friends, as well as every single other Man and Woman, who bravely serve country. 🇺🇸
I'm not Anericain but from an country boy from the north,I respect you gentlemen serving your country. The sacrifice you all give is immeasurable,we can never thank you enough. God Bless you.
I get emotional on either version honestly. Such a great song. Thank you all to have served our country and for those who made the ultimate sacrifice you will not be forgotten!❤
The true hero’s are the men and women who passed during service. Thank you to all who have served this amazing country and nation. You people are the reason why I stand for the flag. I’m 16 years old and I’m proud to be saying this. I’ve had amazing family members who have served and I also have family members that didn’t make it back. Thank you all who have served this amazing country.
This just hit different for me. My 19 year old nephew just left for training for the Navy. Proud of him and thankful for his bravery and service at the same time but also scared.

Thank you so much for this song. My uncle had just passed last month and he was a veteran that fought to protect this amazing country. This man was like a father to me as my parents were never really in my life growing up so when I listen to this song it reminds me of all my uncle had done for me growing up and knowing that he fought to protect truly means the world to me. Keep up the amazing work.
To the ones who can stand I will be in my chair next to you saluting the fallen. God knows how much I miss you. We each have a story just take time to listen it means a lot to us for someone anyone to listen.

Honor their Memory The Ultimate Sacrifice 05/24/2020 by Gerardo Molinar I was caught off guard when I heard of your enlistment, Who would've thought that child's play would lead to a commitment. The war games we played with wooden sticks for guns, The dirty bandages with red paint were all part of our fun. We parted ways to make a life with once in awhile meetings by chance, I paid no heed to talk of war or if our country would make a stance. Time went on with no major news that made any difference to me, That surprised look on my face seeing you in uniform on leave. A quick trip down memory lane of good times that we had, Unknown to me that last goodbye still feels like a painful stab. News about the Heroic way you made the Ultimate Sacrifice, Your life for those around you without thinking about it twice. I can't help but to see your smiling face as Taps echoes at a distance, "Don't be sad or cry for me, for I'd do it again without resistance" Still in a dreamlike state the 3 round volley snaps me back to reality, I look around and for once in my life I see you'll be in good company. The Ultimate Sacrifice given by others so we can remain Free, As the folded Flag is RESPECTFULLY given to your grieving Family. I share the sense of loss with them as my eyes dwell up with tears, As you are laid to your final resting place among all your peers.
Awesome job drew❤️🤍💙🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Definitely got me in tears. I have military family and first responders family. Thank you to all that have and still are serving, alive and deceased.

You should be proud because i was on base with some of your boys from Scotland, we used to talk to each other and try and mimic our accents 😂. Me from Texas and them from wherever they called your towns
It brought tears to my eyes..... I served on a funeral detail at Ft. Riley, so this hit me especially hard. So many fought and died for that flag, yet so many now show nothing but disrespect for it. I won't tolerate it..... Thank you for your service.
The letters from home ready hit hard as my daughter is in boot camp right, 3 more weeks to go. She wrote me saying how much the letters she receives gives her confidence and comfort. I can't wait to see her in her dress blues , And accomplish her dream of becoming a Marine. 1 more week until the crucible. My God continue to safeguard and give her the strength and wisdom she needs to make it through. Amen!!!
Prayers be with you and your daughter! I went into basic training and came out a month later. Some people can do it and some people can't, but from my experience it can be really hard in every way possible if you don't have a great support system reminding you why you joined the military in the first place, so I have huge respect for those that can make it through boot camp and serve in the United States military! Trust me when I say it will be worth it to see her on the day of graduation 😄
I served in the military for 10 years in both the Army and Navy. I am also currently in Kuwait working as a contractor. I loved the original version on this song, but this was an amazing rock version by Coffey and Drew. I am no longer in the military, but I am grateful to the men and women who still serve our country. Thank you all for your service and sacrifices to this great country.
To all over our service men and women and their families. Thank you for doing what most of us don't have the guts to do. You amazing guardian angels are what makes our country safe, secure, and the most powerful nation on God green earth. God bless every single one of you. May God keep you and your families safe. Thank you for protecting America.
Everything I hear this song I have the urge to cry. My Brother served in the Army, thankfully he came back. Nothing but love and respect for all of our service members. ❤
Hooaahh! Both versions hit me like a 120mm, M1 Abrams tank round. This former Cavalryman thanks y'all for writing & playing this. Hell, maybe there's still hope, after all. The fight for Freedom and Liberty rages ever on.
I admit I refused to watch the new version, thinking it can’t be better than the original. I love that Coffey Anderson is on this record, too! So many emotions invoked. The end of December, my county had a Deputy senselessly murdered at the side of the interstate as he was responding to a motorist assist call. The Deputy was also a US Navy Veteran. He left behind a wife, a son, daughter, and bonus son, not to mention extended family and countless friends. My Uncle retired from the US Army after 30+ years of service in 2019. They are why I stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem, and everything in between. Thank You for doing the remake. An even deeper Thank You to those who have served, are serving, and those and their families who gave their life so that I may live.
To all the service men & women keeping our country safe, THANK YOU for your service! I will be praying for the safe return of all our soldiers & I will raise my children to honor and respect your sacrifices to keep us all SAFE & FREE!🫶🇺🇸🫶
For All who paid the ultimate sacrifice, A Slow Hand Salute. Say a prayer, raise a toast to them, for Freedom!! Happy Birthday America!! My Home Sweet Home. 🗽🎆🇺🇲
I didn't serve. Had multiple family members that did. Some who didn't come home, including an Uncle who lost his life in WWII. SO. I have mad respect for our Military. So. With this said. I want to thank you for this song and video. Much respect. I also lost a daughter in law in Afghanistan. On that. I want to thank the Patriot Guard. Who protected us during the funeral. Every one was awesome.
Thank you to all who paid the ultimate price for our RED, WHITE & BLUE!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL WITH NOTHING BUT LOVE AND RESPECT FOR YOU!!! Man how I love to be an American!!!!!!
"Soldiers can sometimes make decisions that are smarter than the orders they have been given.”. - Orson Scott, Semper Fi to all our Vets and Active Military personnel
Fantastic job on this. For those of us who didn't serve but had family serve. It's such an honor and this song drives home that feeling of patriotic respect they deserve!
Thank you for honoring all these older service men, by using them in the video! Lest we forget! "To those who made the ultimate sacrifice, And to the families who will never be the same"!
Might be focused on Americans but when hearing this I think of my great grandfather who served his Country(UK) through WW1&2 I salute all those soldiers we lost be it from America or the UK over the Years
Doesn't hurt we have the same colors in our flags. Only words you have to change are "the regiment is the only family he's got" or John bull or something very British sounding
I was not born or live under red white and blue but i was born on the 4th of July. Thank you to all services for keeping us safe love from Glasgow Scotland xxx
As a volunteer firefighter and 911 dispatcher, I had the honor of dispatching my first department's Assistant Chief's final call last year from within the walls of the station. It was one of the most difficult but most rewarding things I have ever done in my life. Watching this video, seeing that flag handed over and the 21 gun salute (7 guns x 3 shots each), it gives me chills. Thank you to all first responders, veterans, active and reservists. Your sacrifice does NOT go unnoticed.
I am watching this from England and I'm not ashamed to confess that it's absolutely gut wrenching and brings tears to my eyes when I see the devastation of brave men and women from the armed forces who are laid to rest after giving their country their loved ones the eternal heartbreak of attending their funeral knowing they're lives will never be the same again with the knowledge they will never hold or feel that person in this life ever again truly truly devastating beyond any words ! But it doesn't diminish the pride I know I feel and my fellow countrymen feel knowing our 2 countries have the most amazing relationship that 2 countries could or will ever have ! God bless
I like ur song. If u've never been 2 a military funeral in a National Military Cemetery, I hope u never have 2. But if u have u would know why our military men & women deserve every American support & respect. They deserve 2 be honored & respected. 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇲
I have served with the Honor Guard at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly MI, and yes, it humbles you and reminds you of the sacrifices made by those that came before us. 🇺🇸
My mom's brother is in the army My dad was a Marine My Nana's brother was a navy (he died last year) My older brother is in the Marines my mom's biological father was a soldier
This song was already my favorite song & I never imagined it getting better but here we are & it's even better than ever! I can never listen to it without being in tears & feeling such thanks in my heart. Every year our family does a fireworks display & this year, this was the song we played during the fireworks while celebrating our freedom & remembering the men & women who made it possible.
Sadly I've lived days like this too much. To those who served thank you and for those who didn't make it home we will never forget your sacrifice. Til Valhalla 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you to you all for your service! I'm not American but this touches me and makes me shiver with warmth. To the families of those who go off and fight my condolences are with you ❤️ 💙

God bless you all for making this..It made me cry as my dad was a Korean Vet, my 2 uncles Viatnam Vets & many friends lost in middle east & Vets from all over Middle East too
Goosebumps from beginning to the end of this song. Great video. Semper Fidelis to my brothers and sisters listening to this. I was in boot camp for 9/11. Went to Iraq twice. Lost friends over there and have lost some since they came home.

Hooaahh! Both versions hit me like a 120mm, M1 Abrams tank round. This former Cavalryman thanks y'all for writing & playing this. Hell, maybe there's still hope, after all. The fight for Freedom and Liberty rages ever on.
Thank you for your service 💕🇺🇲🇺🇲🏅
There are still some Patriots out here......thanks for your service
God Bless the 🇺🇸
Happy 4th of July... we stay free because of them. SALUTE!
🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🙋🇧🇷
Every single time I listen to this song it hits exactly the same, right in the heart. Greater love hath no man than he lay down his life for a friend.
For All who paid the ultimate sacrifice, A Slow Hand Salute. Say a prayer, raise a toast to them, for Freedom!! Happy Birthday America!! My Home Sweet Home. 🗽🎆🇺🇲
European born. Red, White & Blue in my heart. LOVE this song! 🇺🇸
Coffey’s original hits so hard, this version is just as amazing though in its own right. You gentleman killed it
I didn't serve.
Put this in the super bowl halftime show ❤
Fantastic job on this. For those of us who didn't serve but had family serve. It's such an honor and this song drives home that feeling of patriotic respect they deserve!
Blown away! PERFECTION! Coming from someone who has sat in that chair. So a touching song. Job well done as always!
My cousin served in the Air Force and he died in a plane crash in Albania. This song hits hard. I think of him every time I hear it. 😭💔🇺🇸
One of, if not THE best song I've heard
The remake I didn’t even know I needed!!!! I loved this song before! Love this version too! Definitely an amazing collaboration!!!!
Thank you for honoring all these older service men, by using them in the video!
Lest we forget!
"To those who made the ultimate sacrifice,
And to the families who will never be the same"!
Might be focused on Americans but when hearing this I think of my great grandfather who served his Country(UK) through WW1&2 I salute all those soldiers we lost be it from America or the UK over the Years
Doesn't hurt we have the same colors in our flags. Only words you have to change are "the regiment is the only family he's got" or John bull or something very British sounding
my 1 grandpa helped in the Dutch Underground and the other, as well as his brothers, worked as Telegraphers.
I was not born or live under red white and blue but i was born on the 4th of July. Thank you to all services for keeping us safe love from Glasgow Scotland xxx
Such a patriotic song. May we always be grateful for our American soldiers and their families. God bless them all.
First time hearing this version and it gives me chills. One of the greatest songs of all time and you guys killed it!!
I like the rock covers of the older songs, but the sheer fact that the man joined in, EPIC!!!
How quick we are forgotten about once we have been home for a while.
Thank u i am a firefighter daughter
As a vet myself, married to an active duty soldier and having lost many friends from my time in, this hit hard. I love how y'all did it
Coffey's voice is so beautiful. This rock version gives it a little something more. I love it. Good job boys ❤🇺🇲🇺🇲
God bless
Godspeed Bloke, yes our Nations go way back👍
It's sad that most of America's younger generation can't understand that, God bless our boys in red over there🇺🇲🇬🇧
I like ur song.
My daughter is an active Marine, my nephew an active Airman, my dad and father-in-law are both Army Vets.
This is such an epic song!
I gat a loooong line of family members, whom served under this flag for this great nation, including myself and sister, and a brother ...
My mom's brother is in the army
My dad was a Marine
My Nana's brother was a navy (he died last year)
My older brother is in the Marines my mom's biological father was a soldier
We all Bleed Red, White and Blue👊🇺🇸🫡
This song was already my favorite song & I never imagined it getting better but here we are & it's even better than ever! I can never listen to it without being in tears & feeling such thanks in my heart. Every year our family does a fireworks display & this year, this was the song we played during the fireworks while celebrating our freedom & remembering the men & women who made it possible.
Sadly I've lived days like this too much. To those who served thank you and for those who didn't make it home we will never forget your sacrifice. Til Valhalla 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Til Valhalla 💪🏼
God bless, Travis.

This song reminds me of my local VFW I am auxillary member of VFW post 5606 in Kansas City MO. They have named after a fellow solider lost his life in battle. Donald R. Walters
God bless you all for making this..It made me cry as my dad was a Korean Vet, my 2 uncles Viatnam Vets & many friends lost in middle east & Vets from all over Middle East too

I have fell in love with this song. Thank you for all the support. I hope you continue with all you do, I just love your work. especially this song.
Goosebumps from beginning to the end of this song. Great video. Semper Fidelis to my brothers and sisters listening to this. I was in boot camp for 9/11. Went to Iraq twice. Lost friends over there and have lost some since they came home.
My dad is 57 and he was in the military and he is still alive and when he is gone and some with my mom who was not in the military going to miss them alot when there are gone
I can't even imagine what military families go through. Vets, not politicians, should have the best this country has to offer.
Just discovered this full version. Bloody amazing piece guys with terrific sound especially the drums. Innovative rhythm's Mr Drummer and you guys show sooo much passion/enthusiasm during the entire song = bloody marvellous.
😁👍👊
Love this song to its core. Thank you for such an amazing patriotic song especially right before our country’s Independence Day. And to all military personnel whom are active/Retired/POW/MIA your sacrifice will always be honored and respected.
