to be fair, many gelatins in Asian countries are made with agar agar instead of actual gelatin. Agar agar is made from algae, so it's vegan friendly. Though she may have just made an exception for the trip like she mentioned earlier.

First is also him reflecting on how he got this far with TH-cam, and all the friends and people he's met along the way, and it's a really sweet sentimental video

Alpharads amd Jaidens videos made me realize that a future trip to Japan would be a bad idea for me because I wouldn't have self control either.
Regarding the gelatin thing most likely it was the Japanese gelatin Agar agar which actually is vegetarian as it's sourced from red algae
6:35 the crazy thing is when my family took a trip to Spain we didn’t want to rent a car so we took train, bus, and Uber, but the thing was the food there was better than the food in America them not having preservatives makes them richer and tastier, and for about a week of walking, and eating the non processed food, make me go down to 262 pounds for reference before I went to Spain I was 282 pounds, nowadays I’m likely at 270 pounds but I can’t go down because of them many processed food that occurrs from time to time, but the food that is never given chemicals making them becoming more better than American food is very jarring to me and I love Europe for making the chemicals that companies in America used to be a federal offense in Europe

Yeah japan food quality is amazing, you can eat Japanese food straight raw without any problems and they actually tasted better than when it cooked.
The Mcdonalds near me in Florida has had the double big macs for at least a month now. America saw Japan and said gimmee. Also Ayyyy CHEERS to trying to lose weight! I have been on the grind to lose weight since end of Nov. All the good luck Nate! I dream of going to Japan and do all the stuff.

They probably went to Tokyo Disneyland on a bad day, as it has been rated as one of the better Disneyland Parks. It is home to what has been considered one of the best Dark Rides in the form of The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast

I literally haven't been back to Japan since my first trip there for over a DECADE.
I have been hoping to arrange a trip for all that time, and every time I've had the sliver of hope, which then gets fed for several months, it has always come crashing down, killing my joy severely.
I so desperately want to return to Japan, even if only for a week, I am getting that desperate.
She did reawaken some nostalgia when she mentioned the Spider-Man interactive ride.
I went on that twice when I was in Japan back in 2012.
And I do not judge her on the impulse buying.
We'd needed an spare extra large suitcase ourselves buy the end of our trip with how much I bought.
Yeah, I went with my dad and he is NOT an anime fan at all, so *I* was the sole reason we had to buy more luggage thanks to all the Japanese and anime stuff I was buying.
I'd saved up for over a year after high school for that trip, I was NOT going to be idle with my spending, dammit!
I went to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, but things have obviously changed between the 2 in the last decade since I was there.
Then again, Jaiden had more Disneyland experiences, whereas my only Disneyland experience prior to Tokyo Disneyland was Hong Kong Disneyland several weeks prior, so I didn't have a lot to compare for judgement.
I also didn't have bad weather there, as we went in Autum at the tail end of September entering October, so there were no hot days for us.
DID get caught in a monsoon between Nagoya and Tokyo though 😅.
Her Japan videos are among the ones I keep coming back to whenever my homesickness for Japan gets too strong... which means I've probably racked up a lot of views on those videos over the last freaking DECADE!

5:35 Not just that but they also walk everywhere and don’t only use cars. Japan is very walkable and their public transportation is a huge game changer. Not to mention their meal portions are also smaller than what’s served in the US.
And yes despite that Japan also has a fair amount of preservatives in their food, a lot of it is likely cancerous but they’re able to catch that early on because their healthcare is a lot more available to the public and more competent in some ways then America’s.
If I ever found myself in Japan, I would have my trip focused on history and mythology.
I would like to at least see Mount Oe, where the legendary Minamoto-no-Raiko slain the demon king Shuten-Doji in his temple.
I would also like to visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as try out a hot spring at least once.
