I completely agree. Not sure about respective character dinamics thought. Aside from potential friendly arch-rivalry on that field between Twi and MD. Not sure if that would've been mixed well with everything else on that episode. I would definitely prefer rival than hurting Cutie Pie's feelings, but then again - I'm biased.

This episode shipped so much, you should have seen the Discord servers after this episode came out.... Was a war zone. Fun episode of course, and those faces..... Anything with Pinkie just makes me smile :).
I found this episode to be much better than the last. This one peaked my interest because I like trivia games (at least the ones with certain topics that I’m familiar with). I’d totally see myself as one of the higher ups in a MLP trivia game! Also, all the character interactions were very entertaining imo. So yeah, some flaws here and there but overall a fun episode. Also, great reaction too!
Maybe they could do a physical-media release for seasons 8 and 9 first, for all the completionists out there who have seasons 1-7 on DVD or Blu-ray. :)
In my headcanon, Twilight is hardcore sucker for electronic music ever since she broke out of her bookworm shell. Also, DJ Pon-3 gave her a few lessons - and that's where Sweep Remix is came from.
Forget what I said about Going to Seed. Forget what I said about Between Dark and Dawn. A Trivial Pursuit feels like it’s trying to break the record for most number of crazy faces in an episode.
Yes, this is the season 9 episode i wanted to see you guys react to most of all, anyway to this day this episode still felt like the writers used it as an opportunity to bring out Lesson Zero Twilight one last time before the finale, in fact even now i still found Twilight's behavior in the episode to be unacceptable especially when she purposely got Pinkie Pie disqualified from the game i mean using the rules to takeout the competition was one thing, but using them to get your own teammate disqualified?...that is just messed up, but at least Twilight learned her lesson in the end. Also this episode was the first time any character in the show made a shipping name canon, even though they didn't mean it as a shipping name.XD
While I did enjoy Twilight going “Lesson Zero” mode over the trivia competition, she sank pretty low with her under-hoofed attempts to keep Pinkie from participating in the game and getting her disqualified.
Ikr, like i said in my comment it was one thing when Twilight used the rules to get the other players disqualified, but getting her own teammate disqualified was messed up.
You people will never give 10, right? I was hoping you would at some point. I guess there are no episodes that deserve it. I guess unless a certain someone is brought to tears! xD
