This video is amazing! Ive had tight hips and ankles all my life. It wasn't recently until I started working on mobility. This is an all in one ankle mobility video!

thank you! i watched a lot of your videos and try to incorporate them in my swimming practice. i recently got ankle pain from kicking the legs after i resumed frog style last week.. my wrist was weak after recovering from a torn cartilage surgery. swimming front crawl for a few months helped strengthen my shoulders and arms enough for me to start swimming frog style last week without pain in my arms and shoulders.
I have an old ankle injury - from spraining it during hiking/jogging last time. been doing alot of rehab exercises and wearing insoles but it seems the ankle is hurting again when i restarted frog style. not sure why but i'm pretty sure these ankle mobility exercises will strengthen my ankles and help me out in this journey!!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge about this flexibility. I improve my time for more than 9 secs per 100 meters. Still learning a lot from your channel. Keep it up! 👍🏻🤛

a big thank you! My problems with technique were largely caused by wrong foot position - once I started to work on my feet flexibility and strength and proprioception, I stopped twisting my feet improperly and it helped me with core position.

This has been great for my pronated ankles as well. Thank you so much for sharing. Just started swimming 🏊‍♀️ and as a beginner at age 37, it has its challenges. Thank you for this video.

Just discovered your channel what a fantastic resource for swimmers. I have stiff ankles and this video is great, How many times do you recommend doing this per week to see improvements?

Ankle flexibility is the biggest issue in my swimming technique (I have started swimming when I was 19 and my ankles are very stiff from practicing a running sport all my youth) I just can't create enough propulsion. Also my feet are small for my height which doesn't help. Will try these exercises out and see if they help. Thank you 🙏🏼

I broke my ankle 4 years ago. By accident I discovered using fins has strengthen and stretched the muscles and ligaments allowing greater ankle stability and flexibility. Extra bonus benefit of swimming!

Can you elaborate? I thought fins could make these things worse. Did you use them right anyway, or just some times, or have any tips?

Thx for this vid, it's so helpful, tackling my literal achilles heel in swimming. Does it make sense to start out with this straight, or is it recommendable to work on ankle flexibility prior to mobility?
