So, my wife made me watch the CMA's and this performance comes on. I didn't say a word. Awestruck. When it was over I said WTF? Who is this angelic, beautiful song bird? Needless to say, it's refreshing to see an artist that is not willing to sell their soul for fame but just wants to share their gift.
Kacey is a true professional artist, accomplished guitarist/musician/songwriter and a truly unearthly voice and vocal range with perfect pitch..One of the greatest ever female voices in country music bar none.
Im so glad that she’s getting air time. It seems that Kacey might be getting overshadowed by the newer artists in the genre, I just hope she doesn’t give up on us.
Her voice is so pure and simple. She never overdoes her vocals and just lets her naturally smooth tone shine through. It makes her stand out compared to all the ones who yell when they sing.
Kacey is amazingly different becuz I like how she writes songs about herself and not necessarily coming from romance/revengy lyrics but I could be wrong. In addition, I also like how she experienced mixing pop subgenres and country cuz for years I couldn't get into pop music like Ariana, Sabrina and so many more so ya. I guess I could say the same for full mode country as well so with genres being fused nowadays life sparks for me

the album The Architect is complex in that on the surface; for those that don’t want to explore their Deeper Well; is a jazzy, bluesy, artsy and relaxing album with rich lyrics and awesome chord changes. But for those that do want to go to their Deeper Well; the album goes deep in several life journeys as Kacey lets go of her vulnerability. The Architect is an amazing song! Whimsical and cheery for the former audience; but deeply profound for the later audience. We struggle with life’s twists and turns and try to think life is architected. But rather , to our dismay, it’s just happen stance. A fun song, that is lyrically complex for those that go to their Deeper Well. Thank you Kacey, for sharing your vulnerability! 1:01
