Just started playing Trackmania a couple days ago and am absolutely loving it, golded all and even authored some campaign tracks. Definitely looking at buying the full game

Yeah, the Trackmania community is finally getting some recognition. Hopefully, it will stay as non-toxic as it was. People are helping, even if they are playing against each other. A true gem in the current gaming landscape.

@@harischeema2920 For single tracks, almost everyone uses the in-game system, as everyone's records get sent to the servers anyway.
You can also upload your replays to the Trackmania exchange at trackmania.exchange/home just like in the old days, but it isn't that popular for competition now. They have some custom leaderboards, though, so feel free to check them out!
If you want to post full campaign runs, we have a small dedicated community on speedrun.com for that: www.speedrun.com/tm Setting up your runs there takes much more steps like recording your runs manually, but it's doable if you want it.

my man (thanks for the guide),but why on controller i need to keep my left stick point forward to accellerate it's really annoing can i change that? (sry for bad english)
you don't need to keep the left stick forward,do you? (i'm getting mad,this is so uncomfortable)
Check your settings to make sure you don't have acceleration (or analogue acceleration) bound to that stick. That shouldn't be happening by default.

so um at 6:00 u talk about royal and ranked being free but whenever I try to enter either one it asks how I want to do the payment of ten dollars did they change it or is a ps4 thing
Royal and ranked should be free for everyone, according to the official website.
Since you are talking about PS4, do you have the PS Plus subscription active?
This game requires it for multiplayer, which is a shame since it's technically a free game.

Hey, how do you change the controls on console to use the break buttons for the brakes?
Settings > Controls > Brake or Brake(Analog) maybe? I haven't played on console for a long time
bro keep vibration on! it is super useful feedback for how good a landing is (and sometime also for when you lose grip)
I always thought that they were always used just for immersion. I still don't find them useful, but you may be right about their value.

I'm ngl, I got used to using the analog trigger as my accelerate button. I remapped the trigger to non-analog accelerate, but does that still mean I'm gonna be going slower than if I mapped it to a different button?
Yes, if I understand correctly and you are talking about the difference between the Accelerate and Analogue Accelerate settings, which should work the same, by inputting the acceleration at 50% of your trigger press.
This means that both of them are slower than the faceplate buttons or bumpers.
The only way to make triggers faster would be to use external software to remap triggers to a different button and change the press percentage required for an input. I tested it once for one of the older Trackmania titles, which didn't recognise my controller, and it worked okay.
Having said all of that, I think that it's okay to use triggers, and unless you are in the top 0.01% of the playerbase, you won't have that much disadvantage.

What I love about Trackmania is that online you see the country flag of every player in your (enemy) team. It motivates me more. I play on Series X and love this game! In fact, all the games I love are F2P. EFootball, Warzone, Trackmania,

I can't promise any tutorials on royal maps since I rarely play that gamemode, to be honest, but thanks for the idea and good luck on those tracks!

Qhat does error yeptree 27 means ? I got it since yesterday i bought club access went to bed and then got error i didnt even play 1 race yet ?
Does the error say anything about you being banned? That's what the community says it could be.
If yes, then either go to help.ubisoft.com/ for customer support (bans are usually short, no longer than a week).
Or if not, report the error on the Ubisoft forums: discord.gg/ubisoftofficial (they are on Discord now for some reason).
If you have problems like this in the future, try the #community-support channel on Trackmania Discord: discord.gg/trackmania They are much more knowledgeable about stuff like this.

Go to your profile -> Garage and select any of your prestige skins which you may have unlocked by playing the campaign, ranked or royale. Custom skins are available for Club access players 😢

Did you checked the "Customise advanced video settings" option at the bottom of video settings? I've just noticed that you need to click it to see most of the settings, which may fix your issue.
@@Xmilek62 Ok thanks so much now i did find it but, do you know how to fix the road being weird. With everyone i see playing trackmania the road is just road and with me it's like some kind of circuit texture. I'm struggling to find anything that makes it normal but i can't find anything. Thanks for the help already.
Does that happen only on certain maps? If that's the case, go to settings > system > and disable custom track textures. (I'm not sure if it will work on already downloaded maps or not, but it's worth a try.)
If this happens on every track, then I can only guess that it's a bug from using an AMD graphics card.

what are the track passes for some are like 60 dollars on playstation. can you download created car skins. I want some f1 stuff.
Club access for a year costs around $30 per year and grants access to everything the game offers. It is also the only way to acquire custom skins. With it, you can use all the skins uploaded by PC users. I'm not an F1 specialist, but from a quick search, I found Alpine, Ferrari, and Mclaren skins.

Yeah, it works very nicely in Trackmania (even at 1440p), but it's starting to get old and works okay at minimal graphics settings in newer games like Apex or Warzone. So yeah, it's a very good card for its time (and still very usable right now).

Just a correction: you can play arcade with a free account, but only on the seasonal campaign server and another one that changes every hour. I greatly advise newcomers to play on the arcade campaign server, because spectating other more experienced players is very useful
Yeah, that's true. I forgot about them since the release of Royale and Ranked really pushed Arcade servers out of my mind. And yeah, they are pretty good servers; I played them a bit a few days ago for some footage for one of the upcoming videos, and some maps were really great!
