I doubt if you have the background of this conflict. Rwanda has not claimed any territory of DRC. Kagame/DRC tensions began with the 1994 genocide, which was mainly a Hutu vs Tutsi war. There are tribes with same/similar characteristics of Hutu and Tutsi in DRC. As the genocide later tilted against Hutus, lits of them fled to DRC as refugees. As they fled a great number of masterminds of the genocide also fled to DRC. Rwandan govt called on DRC to repatriate them to Rwanda (or hand them over to UN) to face justice but DRC demonstrated reluctance or lack of interest. Rwanda interpreted that to mean that DRC was covering them. And of course, any foreign soldiers that fund their way into Eastern DRC get enticed by minerals. Thereafter both Rwandan Govt and those refugees conducted cross border raids. And DRC got caught up in the mix. There is alot of bad blood between the two countries, but territorial claims is not the issue. It can't compare with Tanzanian/Kenya or Ugandan/Kenya border issues.
