Wow, cant believe it, i used to live there for 5 years!!!! First at the three bedroom one, and then in the same one as you on the 4th floor. Pink building is the best! Wow what a memory flash back, i was there 2009-2014, great years, best years of my life.
Really? ha ha that's so funny! Yes I loved the location, even tho the building was old, it was the best. Super great experience. What did you do after EK?
I was a cabin crew manager back-home for my national airline for about 4 years, and after that i continued as an HR, now im HR Manager for an it company. But it was tough switching industries, took some time, not only to get a job, but as well to get used to “normal” lifestyle.
You get an allowance of free cargo to ship back and then you can also send additional cargo back for a discounted rate, so it's not expensive at all to return home with things... I wish I collected more artwork and stuff from overseas!
@@flexaroundtheworld They said so when I moved in 2 years ago but it didn't really look like there was much done here. As you said the main advantage is the location so this is the main thing we still cherish here. But there is a new building which is super new and it's near the park so everyone would love to live there but they put new joiners there so😄 Anyway, was really cool to watch your video. Well done!😀
Ha ha. Like I said in the video it's definitely one of -- if not THE -- oldest accomodation. Some are newer and nicer but, this location was unbeatable. I'd rather be in an old one in downtown VS brand new out far in the desert
I am sure there are much better apartments... But crew get free accommodation so, we can't be picky. This one is pretty old. But, I loved the location, and in comparison to the other Emirates accommodations, I think this was one of the better ones if you don't need something brand new
