In Greek Mythology Gaia wasn't actually a nice person but the tree spirits or tree nymphs and river and sea spirits were. Those tree and river spirits were good. Gaia told her children to kill her husband Ouranos, who was the sky. Assuming by Gaia you mean from Greek Mythology.

Unfortunately, youtube oftentimes tales the revenue from those ads so they most likely would not be making money, they would just be giving money to youtube hq.
Uk here and I have potencially persuaded up to al least one person. Maybe more but I can't check of those people anymore. I have also planted at least 8 trees at over 400 and counting. The massive increase of Ecosia users year on year gives me alot of hope. It also looks like you are not letting the corona virus get in the way of your work which is also very reassuring. We need people to find their own nature (within) and begin healing, drawing down carbon, restoring soil, and finding ways to have a restorative economy rather than an extractive one. Another improvement in our society would be growing our food in our own backyards. People do not realize how much energy is spent when shipping produce. If we get people to grow their own food in their backyard, the more trees there will be. I think it's a smart idea.
