TIA Portal: Analog Input & Analog Output Programming, Use of NORM X, SCALE X

What's the purpose of moving the analog input to the memory ? can't you directly insert iw64 to the normalized ? im newbie

Sir , in my Tia v15 I can’t see norm x and scale x. only scale and unscale are available. Is there any other way to see those ?

Please recheck Instruction list. It must be there.
Expand Basic Instruction , under basic instruction you will get "Conversion Operation" expand it. You will get SCALE_X and NORM_X.

sir, i also dont have it. not even when i expand the list. i use tia v18
