Lure Fishing For Pollack & Chunky Eels On Wrecks

Wreck at anchor was the plan today and i ALWAYS work a wreck with lures first to see if i can find some nice bonus fish and that's exactly what happened here bagging lots of nice Pollack from the very first drift followed by a good bit of time at anchor for Eels.
Trusty faithful Sidewinder Rhubarb and custard 6 inch skerries lures doing the magic on the Pollack here worked fast over the top of the wrecks.

The Rod is a custom build one my friend made me so not a shop bought one I’m afraid

@stuartMcCulloch8243 This one is a 12/20 class rod but to be honest it’s been the best rod I have used and haven’t had anything close to it but I had never spent mega money on a rod only using the ugly stik or Penn swuadrons before but they were way off this.
I will have a look at some off the shelf ones and see what’s closest to it and let you know as I get asked this a lot
