Great video! My mistake was ignoring the tiny ground wire. Make sure to include it in the ring terminal for the large ground wire or your switch won't work.
Nice video. Highlights - removed negative terminal from battery, told not to take the bolt entirely out and just loosen it, rotated the fitting, mentioned wrench sizes throughout, showed aux wiring.

A ratcheting combination wrench makes the carriage bolts a LOT easier to install!
If you have King Coilovers there is an added difficulty to this but it’s still doable with some bending. Also make sure you have a deep socket and I needed a 14mm not a 15mm. Make sure you have some ring terminals and also some zip ties. An electric ratchet makes things real easy.

What’s the thin black wire that’s next to the 2 red wires for? I followed every single step but can’t get mine to work.
Did you have any issues with the air chuck hitting the sound deadening liner on the hood?
We haven't had any issues so far.

We don’t have any specs yet for the ranger raptor. We would be shocked if they don’t make a kit for that one as well.
Why would you want to have the power switch inside the cab instead of mounted on the compressor as the kit is made? Seems like a pain to get back in the cab if you've forgotten to flip the overhead switch on -- like I will every time :-)

To avoid corrosion connect the hot to the clinoid instead of directly to the battery.
How would you wire the switch if using the switch supplied in the kit instead of an Aux switch?
Are there any serious ramifications to running a compressor in such a hot and cramped engine bay? I've been mulling over purchasing one of these for my Bronco but the thoughts of pumping hot air into my tires are a little concerning.
No ramifications at all. These are used all the time. The area where the compressor is doesn’t get much hotter than the ambient temperature when you have the hood up. Even if it did cause the air to get hotter going into the tires that still wouldn’t be an issue.
@@MiddletonMotorsports perfect! I’m looking at these and wondering if it’s smarter to run the suitcase pump since it’s transferable between vics at the cost of storage space inside. You’ve definitely given me more info and a lot to think about going into my build. Thank you very much!

The cable that goes from the pump to my battery also has a small black wire that I didn't see in your video. I have no clue what to do with it and my Compressor won't turn on.

Could this be used as the air source for the Bronco ARB lockers?
Yes, I'm sure there is a way to set that up.
