    My friends were all counting on me to make a helmet for a school project, and I wasn’t sure how I was supposed to make one, so thanks for this tutorial! 👍

  • @allgreatfictions
    @allgreatfictions 2 ปีที่แล้ว +20

    It would increase the weight a lot, but you could cover the whole helmet in something like wood filler, or even air dry clay in a thin layer, which you could sand once it cures and you wouldn't be able to tell its cardboard after painting.
    This is a cool little project, but that little bit of extra detail and you wouldn't know.

    • @MarksWorkshopcrft
      @MarksWorkshopcrft  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      That would be a very good idea maybe I should incorporate it with one of my builds next time

  • @khajiitrobinhood3442

    It might be a bit much to ask, and I don’t expect you to do it, but some measurements would be awesome! Really cool skills you have, keep up the good work.

    • @MarksWorkshopcrft
      @MarksWorkshopcrft  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Well, the head diameter is 24 inches if that helps and the visor is 18 inches wide and 8 inches tall and then it tapers to each pin

    • @MarksWorkshopcrft

      I’m sorry it was confusing. I like to use single layer cardboard to make helmets because it’s easier to bend. You can also use foam board. Also, papier-mâché helps with smoothing over the dome over the head.
