It is, however, I had a few experiences where I gave a homeless person the change I had left (a couple dollars or so) and they looked at me like I was a cheap ba*tard and giving me attitude. I guess all I'm trying to say is there are good and bad homeless people just like good and bad "wealthy" ppl.

Wealthy people are already paying a higher percentage of their earnings toward governmental programs. They already give more. Unless you’re savvy enough to navigate through the loop holes, you’re gonna pay more as a percent of your income than those who earn less. Although I agree that society can be cold and selfish, when you are asked literally by 20 people each day, most of them drug addicts, your system finds it difficult to handle. However, I've encountered many people who are just trying to get by another day. I can tell they are not addicts or something. It's not for me to judge why they are in that circumstance. I remember giving a homeless woman outside a supermarket food and money, then having some guy that saw this come and berate for doing so, saying that I’m encouraging their behaviour by giving. I told him it’s not up to us to judge someone’s else’s situation, especially when we don’t know them. If you’re able to give, give. If not, just be polite and honest.

This is awesome. A few years ago when I was a kid, there is this guy who came out of prison and asked for food at my parents' home. He said he was hungry and as a kid I had no money to offer. So I gave him some food and had a conversation with him. Towards the end of last year, I travelled to my home village far away. I was watching my mom's car as she was doing some shopping. The same guy came to my window and thanked me again and mentioned he was doing some construction work. I was so happy. Now, I am trying to get a job so I can give back to more people I can.

Honestly, the way a lot of these homeless people approach total strangers can be quite intrusive or completely inconsiderate. I've had one literally approach me as I was walking out of a bank, another when I was parked in my car in an isolated lot and another walk right up to my window when I was stopped at a red light. A lot of people would find this incredibly annoying or even see it as a potential threat in some of these scenarios. With that said, given what I've seen in this video I'd never scream at someone like that guy in the beginning lol or take off my belt and start assaulting someone lol.

Man , the act of the homeless man put me in tears. I've been in the same situation. Did the same. Had to take the bus and after realizing I just gave my last change to another homeless guy. The bus driver not even knowing I couldn't pay just looked ad me and gave me I sign to just keep walking and take a seat. God is great when you do good.
