Bjorn @ 22:39 the side impact protection arm isn’t in place / active. Just in case it was missed. Don’t like Cybex design that requires it to be manually put in or out. Others it’s a one time thing which is better for parents and for safety.

42 kW thing you remember, that was V3 issue, ultimately was fixed on Tesla side. Pre-facelift I5/EV6 can do 97 kW max on Tesla, good to see 127 kW now, that is usable for long distance travel
You can also have the engine noise through the external speakers. Which is unreal when the car seems to be idling with an engine noise when stopped. Also when using the artificial revs you don’t get maximum performance which is a little strange. But I think the boost button gives max 650 hp. And economy to be fair who gives a damn. Auto steer on my EV6 GT is really good and especially when using HDA2. So strange you have problems. At least it doesn’t look like some boring design that no one takes any notice of anymore. To be fair Björn this car was never designed for you. It was more to appease the petrol head and as a track car is actually fantastic. That’s not me saying that but ex racing drivers. Strange also if you set the charger as a destination that it didn’t pre-heat.
It is not like a hat... You get max performance , but limited by the experience. Car needs to apply less torque for a fraction of a second to give the shifting sensation. That takes its toll on the time.
It also has to emulate the torque curve of an ICE car to let you feel more of a "push" after the shift. It overall makes the car perform worse, but I guess the driver engagement is way higher, which is what they wanted with this mode.
Kinda like the crazy sound with rev limiter man that is cool it's like analog digital combo machine 👍😎 wanted to see ionic 6 N on a real test i think it's better
There's a test you could do for improving efficiency. The N modes have an option to fully send the whole power of the battery to each motor separately. You could select FWD or RWD and drive with a single motor. So perhaps that's a good way to reduce the consumption.
Auto steer - Kyle Conner has just done his regular “Hogback Challenge” with the Ioniq6 base model and the auto steer there was the same at trying to kill the driver and disengaging without any warnings.
Byorn, do you drive Eco with i-pedal, or weaker recuperatuon? The issue with all Hyundai/Kia is that Eco does not improve efficiency if you are in iPedal because the front motor is always clutched on for max regen. This loses APPX. 10% efficiency

True, the (regen) auto mode kinda solves that, though.
I have a (diet dinosaur juice 😥) Kona and the autosteer is pretty good... in straight roads 😅 Never tried autosteer in any other car, so I can't compare.
But as fast as a RS6 Performance (for about half the price), which I think is their target group (people who love performance cars, that`s why I bought mine😉) Plus it charges like a boss so no problem.
I kinda feel like the engineers at Hyundai N thought that it is embarrassing the way others do it, so how about making fun of the other fake sounds by going to the absurd with it… like, let's build a whole arcade game of the whole car.
It’s a performance car with good handling and brakes, made for people who likes a daily driver that they can also bring to the track! It’s competitors are Porsche and BMW m3/m4 (gas cars). It’s not an eco-racer.

This is pure sports car, not like tesla 3 , y performance which can't handle 1 full lap on ring. Testing range makes no sense
