Even thought the laces never came off and there was no use of saddle soap for initial clean up, it turned out to be a pretty effective shine....liked the use of the spray mist for buffing etc.....
I must say that for the first 3 minutes, I was very skeptical ( no laces removed, no soap and a guy not motivated at all, like my teenage son when I ask him to clean his room) but the final result is very interesting. I imagine that the "spray touch" at the end has something to do with the final shining.....
Agree with all previous comments. At first the brush work was shaky, but he did finish strong and ended up with a pretty decent shine. A good find, I'd say, especially for 10$.
In the beginning, I thought it would be a mediocre shine, at best. His energy seemed lackluster with minimum effort - especially with the cleaning. But it turned out not bad. By the way, I love those wing tips - - old school. Nice quiet shop, too. Very relaxing.
Homem. Voce so vive em engraxate,?
Would have given a thumbs down ,but I wanted to be nice. No detail no skill never touched any part of the shoe with his bare hands to check for wax tack. Dont go back there's a reason you never know he was there.
Not bad at all for a $10 shine.

Nice shoes Chris! They turned out so shiny :)
Thanks! Nice to see you Kat!
I was skeptical at the beginning but the end result looks great.

how is it possible to get that level of service, in the middle of NYC, for only $10
Call me old fashioned … but I like:
Laces out
Saddle soap
Leather conditioner
Then the cream or wax

Sorry but this guy didn’t strike me as being dedicated to his craft.
This is not a ten dollar shine. Never put instant shine or water proofing spray on your shoes.
The guy acts like he didn't want to do it with his half assed brushing and no full coverage. Barely touched the heel of the shoe.

Left laces in. Not good.
