Granted it could hardly have been in a better spot but it was on the edge for the previous 3 and didn't go in. 3,800 is an awful lot of money for someone that young so I can't criticize him taking the safe choice. No guarantee even one of the counters would have landed in the right spot; I've seen plenty of similar set-ups where they didn't.
