Everytime I see an abyss speedrun with lyney it looks like the most cracked stuff ever. Then you actually play lyney and you know how painful playing him can be lmao
speedruns and practical runs are nothing alike. Even at whale level (Im a whale i'd know), speedrun runs are wayyyyy different from actual runs. Speedruns are like showcases, they have no actual weight in practice.

That's why Neuvellite and navia are the best , they have the best speedruns while also extremely easy to speedrun with them

Getting her supports constellations are better for her damage (furina first then her other supports of course)

Chiori Zhongli team seems like Lyney's best defensive team and getting geo resonance as well as high damage with double chiori doll, its a pretty good

Is Furina better than Xianling for the team Lyney, Zhongli, Bennett? Is Kazuha better than Xianling here at F2P level of Lyney investment (assuming the content is not AOE because Xianling is obviously better there due to Lyney's comparative single-target-ness)?
If ur gonna use furina with lyeny, you use furina and xiangling. Otherwise furina and kazuha. If you want her to vape, xiangljng, if you want lyney to vape, kazuha.
Zhonglj is bad. If you want to use zhongli with lyney, his highest dps team is chiori zhongli, lyney and bennet. So use that. Other wise judt slot zhongli or dehya anywhere to be honest.
His highest dps for single target is where furina is vaping. At least tk the calcs ive seen.

In most of the clips, u used burst and skill at the end of the rotation for max damage on his skills; however, by the time you use your skill, benneth burst had already been over. does this mean that shooting another charge shot in benneth burst is more valuable than using his burst and skill in benny ult? Sorry for bad english.

Couldn't you just do a Bennett E (which I realise involves on fielding Bennett for a second which is already cringe I get it) or maybe 1 CA from Lyney, then Fischl, then Chevvy E? I dunno, seems optional to me to use Chevvy Ult.
For ppl with less skill he may be mid. But for one who’s ald proficient with him …like u said he’s one of the best speedrunner and dmg dealer in game. He is #2 most popular dps in speedrun tournament in china.
I never play him with shielder and I dont have any problem thou i know most ppl cant do that. I think you just need to be need to be proficient enough with him and it will be much easier to pull of. As of rn, he is still being underrated some part of the community who dont know how to play him (or dont try to know)

Diona? Baizhu? You did not mention as shield options. They double as healers too of course which does tread on Bennett's ground of course but still...!
He was showing the difference in buffing capabilities that there are between shielders and healers. Most shielders don't provide good buffs or debuffs, at least that Lyney can make good use of. Zhongli and c6 Diona do provide decent buffs but them being of the two weakest elements in the game doesn't help much.

People recommend 2p2p over mh is cuz on avg u will have one stack, which is nearly the same dmg of 2pc's. On top of that you most likely have those in way better condidtion that mh pieces

You will almost never have 1 stack, lyney Hurts himself every ca, triggering bennett after 2nd ca from 100%
If you are playing Lyney with a healer (you should, Bennett exists) you will get more stacks on average, specially if its Bennett + Chev
I dont think mentioning Furina is necessary, she enables it on anyone but since he has actual good teams with her its good to remember

Her skill resistence to interruption barely helps him and the uptime on her passive is not good enough for charged atk bow timings, anyone who tried to play Ganyu with Dehya will tell you how it feels like
Her personal dmg is low, she doesnt give buffs for your characters and her extra pyro app generally doesnt help Lyney keep his passive in most situations, so you have no reason to use her instead of Zhongli or even Tankfei tbh and she is not really better than the 4 star shielders, in perfect scenarios she is a tiny bit better but with less uptime
Lyney + Noelle is all that you need
First, Lyney needs a healer and a shielder on his team and Noelle does both. Not only that, Lyney’s elemental burst makes him a ranged player in the middle of the battle so you can switch to Noelle and kick ass. Truly one of the most powerful duo.
Honestly I think he's underated due to his gameplay not to everyone taste. Like yeah it's a real pain for peoples to play him but in that case just don't, other great dps exist and no one force you to play genshin a certain way. But I don't really understand the thing to put him bellow where he should be just because you personnally don't like his playstyle. I hesitated between pulling for him or for Arlecchino, and honestly I regret nothing for pulling Lyney. His overall burst damage is just insane and as a Neuvilette main I felt like I didn't want another DPS character like Arlecchino but one that can, if well build and use, one shot anyone and do more than 5 millions damage. And even if I didn't build him well right now with a bad bow and only lvl 62 he already annihilate any ennemies I want and can solo boss that Neuvillette can't like the Hydro boss for Furina. I currently use him in a team with Lyney Furina Chevreuse(C6) and Benett and the only thing I can say is, if you like Lyney's gameplay go for it. Don't take Arlecchino or Hu Tao because peoples say they're better just because they prefer their playstyle. The three are as good as the others so just take the one you feel the best playing with. But great video anyway.
Yeah, I didn't like his gameplay at first when I did trial runs with him, but this new patch seems like the developers tweaked him a little bit. He does seem better to play now and I feel he is like an Amber upgrade. Like Lynette, I enjoy the sound effects on the EMs and Bursts. My Lyney I think may need some tweaking on his artifacts for attack boosts but was working on his EM because it was just completely absent.

Yeah I'm good. I never use Ganyu on floor 12 for these same reasons. I'm going to get my guaranteed Arlecchino and dip (54 pity atm). Those 4 stars aren't it. Saving some pulls for Chlorinde instead, who is very likely to have Chevreuse on her banner. C0 atm sadge.

Haven’t watched yet but I hope the thumb nail is just trolling because Lyney is absurdly broken if you can pull off his playstyle which isn’t hard for me and I even play on mobile so whoever can’t play him right has skill issue tbh. I generally skip charged atk characters but he’s the first that intrigued me and the only playstyle missing from my account so I went for him and don’t regret it one bit lol

As someone who has Lyney C1R1, Its always lovely to hear about how broken Lyney is from people who have clearly never played Lyney. I sure do love losing 2 seconds of DPS and bennett ult because an enemy decided to hit me while I was charging a shot!!!!!!!!
I know this is directed towards me but I never called Lyney 'broken', I did say he's stronger than Hu Tao at C0 if you get things right so yeah I fully stand by what I said FYI
Also all on field pyro dps feel clunky to play so I don't see a point pointing that out specifically for Lyney but he is the strongest one when played right, although that could change since Arlecchino is around the corner so if she turns out to be stronger than Lyney at C0 and doesn't need her C1 like Hu Tao to even compete in speedruns then you'll see me batchest Arlecchino 😉

@@vht1nah, even at C0, Rizzly gains a little buffed Charged Attack after he is down to 60%. But I do agree, this buff is insignificant at C0. C1 Rizzly feels worth the hp drain.

His evaluation varied alot player by player but for those who can play him well he is one of the strongest pyro dmg dealer and can be even better than hutao in some situations

There is very little skill expression in a bow charged attack DPS. You either get attacked while charging or you don't, there's no decision making that can change that.

Strongest is idk exact maths for Tao,Lyney's bunch of highest ceiling teams but i believe they shouldn't be far off of each other and if anything Tao should pull up ahead.
