Yeah good luck playing quickbloom Haitham with FurinaC0 instead of Yelan or XQ, and not wanting to jump off a cliff. The minimal dps increase is not worth the struggle you have to go through playing this team, if you are an average player.
Alhaitham is a very good character, sadly the standart banner dendro character got more DPR than a limited one, at least alhaitham can compensate for the AOE capabilityes and rewarding direct invest with his high field time, making him still viable and a good pull for most people

I don't even think Tighnari is an On Fielder... He's exceptionally quickswappy and doesn't need much on field time.
is it worth pulling al-haitham if i had tighnari? Its doesnt seem like a huge upgrade to hypershit/aggravate teams. Surely he's better, but how much?

I love how you can explain stuff so quickly. Plus, I do know a lot about Haitham already but there's always one or two things that are new to me.
the not playing with nahida call was unexpected! pretty sure most of us was convinced nahida is a must would love to hear a response to Jamie (kb9v)s recent video too, showing same sheet dps if replaced with fischl, and same clear times as keqing C0 in speedrun. that seems to indicate he is not the best option, but an equivalent option to the available flexes in dendro cores.
thats speedrunning, anyone playing the game outside of that will have a significantly better time playing al haitham (in his best teams) than keqing (in her best teams). i like jamies content and seeing his perspective but you have to realize that he is extremely speedrun pilled and you should generally view what he says in the context of speedrunning or close to it.

A very thorough guide. Just like his character in the story, I think he's misunderstood by players. As a Nilou main I think he was a great addition to dendro and him, Nilou, Furina and Baizhu/Yaoyao is one of my favorite teams to play.
Any Nilou enthusiast here can tell me how he performs meta wise in her teams?
Pretty good. I think jamie has a vid on him for nilou teams.
THE RETURN OF THE DOUBLE ANEMO AIR FRYER TEAM BAYBEEEEEEEE In all honesty, I feel like the Burnmelt teams make the most sense and they have the most room for iteration with future cryo characters. It feels like ever since Sumeru that Hoyo has been trying to weaken Freeze teams so that only leaves Melt and Superconduct (lol) as the only non-problematic reactions from a game design perspective and Emilie ought to be the premiere enabler of that playstyle. Realistically though, I can totally see a world where she is just a Neuvilette Vape buff.

Alhaitam is probably the most overrated "S tier" character imho.

he just performs super good on calcs with f2p (kqm standard) investments. in fact outside of c6 chevy\furina lyney teams and knave vape v\o any defense he is still best c0 5* in st And as any hb\qb driver\carry he starts to fall of with higher investments
He's just weird for an onfield dps you dont really want to vertical invest in him. He works really well with subpar investment thats why a lot of people overhype him. But yeah i think any hypercarry clears him.
@@rid5885 He literally sheets better then anyone outside of defenseless Arle, or C6Chev Lyney in ST to this day. He is the second most valuable addition as a hypercarry after Neuvillette. Not only by the virtue of being the best ST dps in the game, while also having a lot of AOE, with KQM std, but by not needing Bennet, Furina, Kazuha, ZL(Or actually anyone that is not Nahida for that matter) And what do you even mean by "sub-par" investment? The fact that you can put him on a craftable 4* and he will perform better then HuTao while also being 10 times easier to play? Standard investment by any TC is C0 with a 4* weapon option that you can get for free. And in this category he solos everyone to this day. And the funny thing is, if you think you "need" to invest more in a character then that, then you just have massive fucking skill issue. Vertical investment always was, and always will be dogshit.

Thoughts on Baizhu/Furina/Kuki as a quickbloom team? On nahida furina kuki, do you need Prototype Amber on Nahida in order to have enough health for Furina to drain? Isn't a downside of Harbinger of Dawn that its basically unplayable on any Furina teams, as Furina will easily drain you below 90%?
If only he didnt rerun along Clorinde, I dread pulling for his weapon and then getting Clorinde's sig.
This isnt that useful for most people but I don't really see people talk about it, Furina's sig is actually his second best (5 star) weapon in Furina teams, not relevant for most people unless you got two splendours in one ten pull like me om
Wouldn't Uraku Misugiri be better? Both gives 88% crit dmg and 24% skill dmg but uraku also adds another 16% NA dmg. Not to mention that uraku's buff are permanent and can be doubled if you have a geo in the team.

I like her kit. I think it priortizes burgeon/burn melt over hyperbloom. I think Xiangling, Furina, baizhu, and Emilie would be a pretty good team.
The energy requirements for Xiangling would be crazy, no?
@hellonyancat666 true, but I run furina on fav and you could use fav on emilie too if she's a pole arm since the pole arm fav has a high base att stat
I think the video where you explain how to play Haitham optipally is the first video I've seen from you. I'm at a point where I could go for Archon constellations. It's between Nahida C2 and Furina C2... Or I could just wait and bet on Natlan.
I think Furina's C2 is the stronger of the two tbh.
@@viego29 Thx for the imput. I also think she's overall more versatile. And she would make some of my less used character that I want to make shine better (like Noelle). I'm a huge fan of Dendro and Nilou Bloom tho. Which is why I feel I'd get more use of Nahida C2. Now the biggest issue for me is how Nahida C1 doesn't bring much to the table while Furina C1 is already a nice bonus.
@@re.n8208 to be fair if you plan well you can get both. Use whatever pulls you have on furina this patch, Nahida is wayyy off yet
I have a very well invested C2 Tighnari and i really wanna try Al Haitham, but i would probably never return to tighnari if i pulled him. I don't like pulling for "upgrades" and mostly pull for unique designes (C6 Chevy owner) or constellations
The reason i’m getting him is cuz he is 1 strong and 2 seems fun. People often say to pull for supports and ztc but if u have been playing for a while u prob already have most / all of them like fishl sucrose xq bennet yelan nahida furina zhongli kazuha etc and after that i’m now pulling for dps’es cuz all my supports are already build 😂
I'm finally gonna have Alhaitham tomorrow and i'm gonna ask, is it worth it going for his weapon if I already have Mistsplitter? And don't think I can find a use for the Clorinde's sig apart from high base attack for Benny lol. Also already have C2 Nahida and C2 Furina as far as vertical investment goes.
imo it's not worth if you have mist and especially that he is not a hyper carry doing 70% of team dmg
Do you have c2 Nahida? If yes then you can consider it. Outside of that Nahida is a bigger upgrade than anything by a mile. Alhaitham team using a 2 star weapon with c2 Nahida would likely outdps his best in slot weapon without c2 Nahida.

The most interactive On-field DPS in Genshin by far, imo.
For me, it's Cyno, sure he's nowhere near as good as Alhaitham, but he's fun af to play, when his burst actually works
He’s my favorite. I love all his move sets. You either dash or aim with skill. He NAs, charge atk, plunges with skill), has the most flexible uptime/rotation where he can prolong his onfield time and infusion or shorten it with a longer burst. My favorite character to play onfield ever

I have around 110 pulls saved, and a guarantee from losing 50/50 on Wanderer banner. Do I pull Alhaitham C0 or just save for Furina C0? I dont think I can go for both since I am very unlucky with 50/50s.
Furina. She is a staple support. Alhaitham is more of a marginal upgrade for some dendro teams.
They are both meta units so you're fine pulling the one you like more. Furina has more value as a support though. But with 110 wishes and a guarantee you might be able to guarantee both anyway
@@riiel3474 i heard we are only getting 65 pulls this patch, so if I get Alhaitham on 76th pull, around 100 will be left which isnt enough to guarantee Furina if I lose 50/50. Anyway thanks a lot for your suggestions guys, I decided on Furina. She is good for many teams and also for exploration.

Alhaitham was probably the most doomposted unit after he got nerfed during his beta, we all know how that turned out.

I'm not sure that alhaitham is really the same unit without electro, and I don't see Emilie teams playing nicely with quickburn unless an on field electro is involved Edit: looked it up it's about half of his personal damage, if Emilie is going to be played with EM scalers she needs to give that EM something to do, most likely she's gonna be played with Quickburn and Pyro on-fielders.

Personally, if ur looking at cleartimes with best assumptions, i think Neuvilette and Arleccino is a bit better. But otherwise, the is most on par with those 2 for the avg user.
@@torbjornlindholm4098 I mean in pure single target alhaitham is still better. But if you have even one chamber with multitarget yeah neuvillette is better for sure (if we are talking abt c0 on dps's)

@@volodyan7780 it depends on what the multitargets are. If Haitham can consistently hit all of them with every mirror prock, he will generally perform much better then Neuv.

With flowing purity, do i need furina for it to work? I don’t find success with it using bennet since i need to go beloy 70% to get healed. It’s a bit clunky. Can someone help
I'm hoping they tune her dendro app just enough to be able to maintain burning as a solo dendro, but also allow Kazuha to maintain burn aura ownership in either Pyro x2/Emilie/Kazuha, or Burnmelt comps. Either way I doubt she snapshots so she'll be the most Murata dependent character we have.
