Finally a video with lights that’s not in the studio directly on a backdrop thanks for taking it outside in real world situations 🎉

Great vid Jason and really good timing. I lost everything about a week ago in a house fire so I have to start from scratch, and these might be perfect for rebuilding my channel.

OH MAN, I'm sorry to hear that! That's terrible! I can't' imaging going through that. I'll be praying for you man. May God bless you as you rebuild.

Thanks man. We are all unhurt and safe and the retro gaming community have really rallied around to help. I feel really lucky to be honest.
I'm rebuilding my kit based on the things I learned over the last seven years but I never switched to LED. In the rental house I can't screw stuff to the ceiling so I started looking at LED stuff but never really trust the Amazon reviews... We both know how THEY work haha! So I was looking and then the notification for this video popped up. Beautiful timing. Hope you are well brother and... still no patreon??

Glad you made it out of it all ok. At least it’s all just ‘stuff’ and most stuff can be replaced. If you wanted a very similar set of lights but a little cheaper check out these: th-cam.com/video/YyEgCJJwuOI/w-d-xo.html
I haven’t looked into patreon yet…I struggle with what kind of value I can give to people for something like that….we will see though! 😜

Hey Jason, always a pleasure to see you on TH-cam. Man, I just discovered this channel that does 20 second videos that are kinda horror themed?! You gotta watch the amount of editing that's put in those short clips.
Talking about story telling... those guys are on a different level! More like, They "define" the level. MBGCore that's the channel.

They man! Thanks for sharing that channel, I checked it out, pretty awesome stuff on there! 😁👍

Not gonna lie man - sometimes I think you've hidden cameras in my "studio" (bedroom 🤣). I've got a pretty cool RGB light, that doubles as a great white fill light, and some ring lights (🤦‍♂️)...and I can .. kinda .. get them to work. So this video has planted a s*itload of info. Thank you as always sir 🙏

Just got their 300 light and wow at 37,000 lux is insane super bright. Can actually compete with the sun. Definitely look into it.

Thanks for sharing your experience! These lights are super bright, they do a great job. Sometimes I could use a little extra diffusion but for adding color and light to things, they’re great.

@@JasonYadlovski we needed a light that can compete with the sun and not drop alot on a hml. So the gvm 300 dose that job for film sets as led panels are for TH-cam work.

Hey Jason! These lights look awesome. But I realize that this is a 2 year old video. Is there any RGB panel light that you know of which would do better for the price?
The 1200D's look awesome, but of course the 1300D would perform better by name/generation.

Hey! I've been using these lights along with another set of 3 smaller GVM lights for years. They all work good, but you're right I'm sure there's better stuff out there now for cheaper or the same price. I haven't looked into lights since I got these cause they do the job for me.

@@JasonYadlovski Thank you man! The fact that they've been doing the job for years is telling! & believe it or not, I've been searching high & low for the past few days and I'm unable to find something that's both more modern and significantly better. Looks like it's between GVM & Neewer for the best RGB lights within this price range.

@kendallbarthelmy2881 have use some of the newer LED lights as well, they seem to work just as good. 👍😁

1300d vs 1500d which one would you consider??

    • @JasonYadlovski
      @JasonYadlovski  2 ปีที่แล้ว

They are essentially the same light, one just is a little bit brighter. I would say take a look at your needs, do you need more light? Also take a look at your budget, if budget is no option go with the brighter lights. They’re both a great set of lights.

@@JasonYadlovski I shoot in Slog 3 with Sony a7s3. I don’t want to crank up any setting if I can get a light to save me from noisy video.

I'd go more power on the light then. 😜
