Its not Omegamon in the first Flash and later Picture btw. It looks very similar, but seems to be the Mega Form of that new Digimon.
I agree that it looks a lot like a client. What i could see is that they combine it somehow with other Digimon Projects. Like for example, future VPets will have the option to upload your finished raised Digimon to the Client and you can walk around with that Digimon in the Lobby and maybe even do stuff that earns you more cards. Unlikely, but would be so cool :D

A Digimon TCG manga would be so fun! I'm also low-key hoping it's a multiplayer mode for the TCG, like Archenemy for MtG or raids for WoW TCG where players face off against an AI boss monster deck in PvE. The trailer mentions raiding - maybe not in the context I'm imagining it, but one can hope. An online client would obviously also be amazing.
