    Rachmaninoff managed to summarize the 5 stages of Grief in one piece
    - denial
    - anger
    - bargaining
    - depression
    - acceptance

    So. I am deaf. Got 2 cochlear implants and recovered enough to listen to music again, and start playing the piano again. You can't imagine how valuable it is to me to be able to enjoy your play, and feel the emotions you put in this piece. Wow. Thanks for that.

      what about Rachmaninoff though? like I mean, he did write it and conceive of it, and when he played it himself, it sounded pretty okay.

      Holy shit. I am currently learning this piece and that blurry hand speed at the end of the pieces plunge into chaos is something I will never be able to do. I can play it as written. But his emotional interpretation is why he is a master and I will forever remain a peon. That was a beyond how it was written. That was him pouring his soul out.

    Андрей,благодарю вас за исполнение,за тонкое внутреннее видение и прочувствованность прекрасной музыки Рахманинова,я когда-то играла эту прелюдию и согласна внутренне эмоционально с каждой нотой,заново прочитывая текст и испытывая восторг от душевного единения с вашей трактовкой. К сожалению,по непредвиденным обстоятельствам не попала на ваш концерт Три Осокина,хотя билеты были на руках.Надеюсь побывать на ваших концертах,с уважением,рижанка Нина.

    I mean.. I think that everyone that performs this piece looses a bit of their soul every time. It takes courage to do this! As audience we just see the soul pours out of the performer. Mr. R. did some next level stuff!
    This performance is really outstanding in timing and expression(s). It must have been hard, yet releaving to have played this. I guess this gave a good nights sleep :-)

    • @vijayprabakaran392
      @vijayprabakaran392 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You should play the C# as a upbeat to the B.

      Blues Rat You need play this c# not in same time, but you just need bring your hand fast from c# to b ( i suppose that my advice useless)

    Ive seen Evgeny Kissin play this on youtube several times in different videos and as a beginner pianist learning this piece Im looking for a pianist that makes the piano sing while playing this particular piece. For the piano to sing this particular piece It takes more than most people imagine in my opinion. Long story short, Evgeny Kissin and several professional pianists are not able to produce the sound that you produce while playing this piece Andrej. I have seen masterclasses on youtube and the advices they give to people all with the same goal, to make the piano sing and I can hear that you make use many of these advices that are given in masterclasses. I can hear the bell clearly in the beginning for example and the sound is not horizontal, you manage to hold those notes a little longer which creates a beautiful singing sound. Your fortissimo is very powerfull also but you are not banging on the piano with a hammer which I see many professional pianists miss. In my opinion they look weak in these parts. The fortissimo in this piece, I perceive it as strong frustrating feeling or regret which is determined, something along those lines which I feel fits very well with a strong and powerfull fortissimo. Very well done, you teached us how to add something special when playing piano and how to actually make the piano sing and not only focus on technical parts. With very basic knowledge I think Its possible to play beautifuly on the piano and enjoy the instrument even if we are not on a professional level but to be able and produce this kind of sound is something special and Im happy just to be able and achieve that.
