Excellent Video! I learned more about Lake Hemet, in these 5 minutes than I had while reading various sites about the lake...and your panning skills blended well, great job, Thanks!
Not sure when this video was taken, but the lake can get warm over the summer months, which of course is favorable to algae growth. In addition, runoff containing ash from the fire in the surrounding hills in 2013 also contributes to the algae blooms. Now that the surrounding area burned again earlier this summer, I suspect the lake will green up considerably again next year.
What a perfect spot to make a damn just a few bags of concrete and some rebar done✅
Unique video bro now u have a new subscriber allways supporting keep it coming bro 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Me and my son used to live up there in the 80's and 90's. Was alot of fun.

Thanks for the shot of the seldom-seen north side of the dam. The surrounding area is off-limits, so not many have seen what it looks like.
I wonder why s much green algae (assuming that’s what it is)?

Nice video! Thanks!
Any plans to do a drone video over nearby Lake Fulmor or Bee Canyon-to-Idyllwild?
