As far as I’m aware, the pen is called VP in the US and elsewhere it is called capless. The one you purchased is cheaper because the nib steel, and not gold. I have the matte black VP. But I really like the color you have here💛

I went with the even cheaper route of the Majohn A1. $40 on Amazon, they offer both the clip and no clip options, plus come with a converter.
De Atramentis Document Ink is fantastic. I also love the Roher and Klinger "Sketch inks". I have a specific designated pen for platinum carbon ink. If it's not flushed every 2 weeks it can kill a pen. It's like using super shimmer ink, except instead of mica it has carbon particles. When those particles dry, not even the best pen flush can save the nib & feed. Playing and using all the fun stationary things is how you learn what you love, it's all about the journey. Keep having fun!

I love the majohn too! 🥰 the ef nib has a slightly bolder line imo. So I did enjoy the capless fine being thinner for my bad handwriting lol!
