@Jenngail22 : I thought they were Australian as we make them in Australia. However, they are, in fact, originally created in Ohio America, actually didn't realise this until l had seen them in American Costco videos. I think the flavours vary around the world so it's always nice to see what other countries have. 😊
@shirleyperry8593 : I grew up thinking they were Australian. My favourite as a child was the five flavours in the roll. I wish they still made that one.
@@brilliantbutblue here in Canada we have the lifesavers gummies in cherry, lime, pineapple, grape, and orange flavour, also in those flavours but hard candy ones, also have peppermint and spearmint hard candy lifesavers.

We do have Lifesavers in America😍 Maybe seeing them in the bag they look different . they usually come in a tube. My grandmother always carried wintergreen. Lifesavers in her purse. My aunt would give us at Christmas the Santa Claus book that had like eight different life saver flavors. There are hard candy. praying for your wonderful family. God bless.🙏🙏❤️

In the 60’s Australia was one mission, my son spent 11 months of his mission in Tasmania
my goodness Bennett looks like he's grown so much since Thanksgiving n even more like his dad crazy how fast they grow n change at thus age ( all ages)

I’m with the boys. I think I prefer cheese toast with a mug of french onion soup. =) Also, if you have any soup leftover, it makes a great base for the gravy of Salisbury steak. 😋 For anyone unfamiliar with it, Salisbury steak is basically substantial hamburger patties that are cooked (pan fry, air fry, griddle, grill, bake, whatever) and then simmered in a brown gravy. I like mushrooms and onions in my gravy. =)
Speaking of playing games you have to play Deer in the Headlights. It’s a really fun card game that you will love. Enjoy!

My grandma said a long time ago that the things she worried about never happened, and the things that did happen she never could have imagined!

Lifesavers are strictly American. I have been buying them every year for Christmas for both my boys. It’s a tradition and my boys have always loved them. Though they are grown now I still buy them for them.the factory for lifesavers is located in port Chester New York.

So I am watching one of your Shop with me at Costco videos from a year ago. Everette is so darn adorable but especially in the shop at Costco videos! He’s just so funny! I loved his enthusiasm when he threw the plate in the trash and was so happy he made it he screamed with delight much to the surprise of the man pushing the cart down the other isle. Thanks for sharing this time with us!

Just a suggestion about the soup. If you toast until lightly browned it helps with the sogginess and gives a beautiful flavor. It looks like you all had a wonderful Christmas. It seems you’re getting all the snow. We here in Canada have had a little but nothing like when we were kids. So much fun.

Sushi making as a Family... fun and delicious. Yum, salmon. My favorite sushi is nori (optional), rice, smoked salmon, cucumber or avocado and carrots with a dab of wasabi, topped with salmon roe (optional), plus a dipping sauce: soy sauce, garlic, green onion, sesame seeds and pepper flakes (optional). Keeping Baby Girl in mind, you should try using hot-smoked salmon or shelf-stable salmon: both are fully cooked/cured, so safe for baby 🍣
I miss horseback riding so much. Brings back wonderful memories, and one "not so wonderful" memory involving me riding the lead stallion and my friend making a bad decision with her horse that, luckily, didn't maim or kill me. She's lucky I didn't hold a grudge 🏇🏼

French Onion Soup is delicious, especially on a cold Winter's day. Yea, the soggy bread and fontina cheese are an acquired taste. I think I was in my twenties before I really started to enjoy it. I make mine with a (variety) mix of fontina, gruyere, swiss, mozzarella and/or parmesan. Sometimes I skip the bread in the soup and serve it with a French Dip Sandwich (traditional beef or Mark-friendly chicken). It's all mouth-wateringly delicious 🤤
Hunter is getting so tall. At this rate, he'll be taller than Mark before you know it. I'm sure all the boys will absolutely love their gifts:
Hunter: I hope to see some of your fly-fishing trips. I tried once, but I'm a boat/bank fishing girl. I was taught how to make my own flies... I still have one in my keepsake box. I highly recommend you give it a try if you haven't already 🎣

Jalapeno Pepper Jelly is good for dipping jalapeno poppers and chicken tenders/wings, and lots more. Add some raspberry jam over low heat until warm and it's even better 🌶️
I love Land o' Lakes cocoa packets. My favorite are: Hazelnut, Vanilla, Arctic White and Caramel ☕
Loving all the gifts and goodies. Love the earth tone baby clothes and the handmade dress. Yummy treats: the banana ones are up my alley... why don't we have these in the states? Next time your making French Onion Soup if you remove the Lids & put back in the Oven for around 5 mins the Bread on top will be nice and golden & crunchy .
