My fruit trees are in large containers and do very well. I have found the fruit are healthier looking and more sweeter, because the maintenance is easier in containers. Also, I have a solar watering system complete with rain water.

I respect your honest answer regarding the military. My son enrolled in a military college and fully intended to be an officer and pursue a career after graduating. When the crap hit the fan, he was basically an outcast and a prisoner to his barracks (military college). He became depressed and when he came home for Christmas decided not to return. He only had a year left so we were very concerned. His decision cost him a lot of money, but he is paying it back. He believes he made the right decision for himself and his now wife and family. I never thought my son would change his life plans, but he says it’s not what he signed up for. Fortunately, he wasn’t actually in the military yet, but was in a scholarship. Different from signing on. I truly believe his decision saved his life. He was on a bad mental state.
I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s a travesty what they put these men & women through. I’m so glad your son is home now. Thank you for sharing his story.❤️

As a former military myself, I could nit agree with you more about the state of things in the Military…its not the same military I was in for sure. Thank you both for your time in Service. Merry Christmas. After about 12 hard years, due to my husband’s traumatic brain injury, he got treatment and is back to his old self, mostly. We just sold our retirement house and moved to a mobile home in the woods. Life is now all we’ve dreamed of. In three short weeks we’ve turned this place into a cozy haven. The fact that 1 person can hold up very high ranking military promotions is ridiculous. I never knew Congress had to approve promotions except for the very highest. I think I heard something like 80 people had to wait many months because that one senator wouldn’t approve them. Shame on him.

My son, then 21, wanted to join the Navy or Air Force to be a pilot. He took his ASVAB and scored extremely high and was told he could do anything he wanted since he scored so high. He was all set to join and then the election happened. My son came to us and told us he didn't feel comfortable any longer with those in charge and said he had changed his mind about joining. We were a little disappointed but completely in agreement. Since then, we've seen things get even worse so I think it worked out for him. My family has had generations that have served in the military in every branch. We still have some of our young family in the military but I agree that today's military isn't what it used to be. Sadly, I don't even feel that today's military is capable of defending us. Thank you both for your service and God Bless you and your sweet family. Merry Christmas!
The Lord was watching out for him. I too hoped my kids would join like Joe & I did. Not just to serve their country but to give them a solid foundation to build their lives on like it did for Joe & I. But I just can’t in good conscience encourage them to join under this administration. And sadly, I agree with you. I worry too about us being able to defend ourselves. I mean c’mon, men in skirts? No. That doesn’t scream strength, bravery & courage.🤷🏼♀️

I watch the 4-5 channels you mentioned. You are right about each of you bringing something different to the table. But, ya know girlfriend, I appreciate you so much. I grew up with a dad who retired from the military, my husband, nephew, all uncles…military each and every one were in all different services along with being Christians. Tina, I agree with you regarding the military, and marriage 100%. It isn't the same military at all! As for marriage...it wouldn't be a marriage without hard work on both sides of the relationship. Marriage is never 50-50% work, and I would never believe that percentage. Somedays it's 10 - 90%, 80 - 20%, 40-60%. It will always varies!

He just retired 6 months ago. He was on the road truck driving the last 12 yr.'s. We are relearning how to get along. Our daughter moved out 8 months ago so it's just the two of us. We do better now than we ever have. It's almost like a new start for us. Not that's it's perfect but better than it was years ago. Lots of people that live in snow climates do this. They plant seeds in a milk container and let them go through a cold process, and in the spring they have new plants. They have a lot of youtube videos on it. You guys are in the perfect climate too.
