Huh? You have no clue on the things that court has done to Black Americans! The courts have ordered the death of innocent Black Americans! The courts has railroaded &sentenced to dam near life! Case going right now man is innocent the prosecution asked the court to put a stay on his execution because they are filing to free him and the court said no and that they better move fast or he will be executed
I notice Doug appreciably tempered his tone compared to (justifiable IMO) the palpable outrage in Mr Steel's motion. A shrewd and classy move, given the judge's subtle rebuking of the fire and brimstone approach. Nice one Doug.

Judge Glanville didn’t give Woody any instructions when he left the stand, but he told everyone else that left the stand, and never understood the reason he didn’t give him those instructions.

The Law Offices of Glanville & Love better be praying to God a mistrial with prejudice is declared!!! That makes moot calling them as witnesses and taking the 5th or perjuring themselves. Too many people were in the exparte proceeding...the one we know about.
The state never giving Kendrick critical Brady material sounds the Alec Baldwin case that got tossed with prejudice because of Brady violations.
Phil why do you think that Fani Willis is adamant that this case keeps going forward? I seriously thought she was having this case brought as a trial run to the rico case with President Trump. All the error in this case I just don’t understand why Judge Glanville, the prosecutors, & Fani would risk their careers on this case which looks so weak.

Doesn’t Georgia law require a judge from another county?
Fulton County Georgia and the Southern District of New York and others make you really question if our system of "justice" isn't worse than that of the old Soviet Union where the motto was, ..."show me the man and I'll find you a crime."

That’s why she should have been recused from even hearing the motion! She seems to have looked for the neutral way out rather than calling it right without no bias or even the implication of bias
Most judges are former prosecutors which is why most are differential to the government
I've been following you on this story for several weeks and I still don't understand why Glansville didn't recuse himself when first requested. It would have been so much easier for him.

Based on what Mr. Weinstein. Esq. moved in the motion for a mistrial [with prejudice], Judge Whitaker could declare a mistrial with prejudice where double jeopardy applies with respect to Mr. Kendricks? Would the other defendants also be dismissed or would they have to continue the trial against them?
A mistrial on the grounds raised by Weinstein would apply to all defendants currently on trial.

Waiting room signage is distracting, unfunny, and over-centered. Blue lightning is stupid. Fifty minutes for a seventeen minute segment is a big problem.
This trial keep you from paying attention to The Mr Trump case and other very important issues going on around this country.
There's nothing happening in any of the Trump cases until September when his NY sentencing is scheduled. I will absolutely cover that! Yes - there is a lot happening in the US. The news cycle is really crazy. However the focus of this channel is law and legal issues. Most of the craziness in the country right now is all political and not the focus of this channel

Re: Atty Kayla Bumpiss. I was going to reserve judgement on her and initially thought she was caught up in an unfair situation. Especially when she was claiming on TH-cam interviews that she was just talking to defence attys in the hallway about their kids coz they go to th3 same schools, regarding judge Granville’s “security video evidence” suspecting her as the leak for the exparte hearing.
However, since judge Glanville’s show cause hearing was cancelled, she has now been on media interviews defiantly admitting that she did tell defence attys about the exparte hearing in that video. I honesty can’t rate anyone as having good character who makes bold faced lies. I would also question her intelligence. Who on earth is stupid enough to make conflicting statements or provable lies on internet video????!!!! How did this woman obtain a college degree? And to throw gas on a fire, she is making you tube videos with her ‘ex-client’ the infamous Woody. Aaaand, they are directly discussing details of exparte hearing transcript; claiming that there are certain parts that are redacted. I’m not sure about the legalities of this, but it’s just so unprofessional. Rachel Hoffman, I believe you have been more than vindicated in my view. Kayla’s behaviour is just beyond understanding.

I distinctly remember being horrified when I heard judge glanville make that thinly-veiled -‘I know what you did’ threat to atty bumpus in open court, regarding the security video. He reminded me of those abusive control freak husbands who look for any tiny thing to bolster their paranoid suspicions. Then an interview popped up on my feed, with Kayla expressing shock at the comments , denying that she had leaked anything and stating that she had been having an innocent chat with some defence attys about their children and school. I felt outraged support of her and disgust at judge glanville. Then I saw a law n crime interview yesterday, where she calmly admitted to being the leak. I felt duped. So whatever the story may be, the fact remains that she can’t seem to maintain any professional discretion, let alone keep her mouth shut about a witness/ex client who is still technically on the stand. How is that supposed to encourage trust from future potential clients? It seems like the sudden 15mins of fame has obliterated any common sense.
