Matt Reeves has done a deal with WB where he'll establish his own universe which is a part of the DC Elseworld, this Matt Reeves' universe is called The Batman Epic Crime Universe and Matt Reeves wants to keep it really grounded. Which is just perfect.

That's exactly what Chris Nolan said with his The Dark Knight universe. Honestly, I am loving the Batman universe as it is. James Gunn should just hire Ackles for the role because he doesn't look too big or too small for David Corensweet's Superman.
